I think most of us can agee we love our Alphas but there are some really great Beta Heroes out there in literature, movies and TV. Who is your favorite?

What exactly is a beta hero? He is a secondary character who's not as alpha as the alpha, or he is not exactly alpha?

If it's not exactly alpha (caveman) my #1 would be...

My favorite beta hero is Elec Monroe from Flat-Out Sexy.

My understanding of a Beta is one who is more sensitive and kinder than the Alpha. He is able to respect the heroine's ideas and wishes, whereas the Alpha takes what he wants and can be a royal jerk at times. Please correct me if I am wrong.

There are many lovable betas but one that holds a special place in my heart is Carter McCoy from The Texan's Wager. and, Julie, you picked some goodies too.

I have that one on my TBR list, Pamela. I've heard a lot of good things about it.

Ahhhh. My favorite heros are Betas. I just think of them as reasonable lol.

My favorite hero ever is He is not afraid to be goofy to have self doubt and to be just the bomb.
