Pearl swam through the ocean. She loved it when she was in mermaid form.

Bailey swam up beside her. "What's going on girly!!" she asked excitedly to Pearl.

"Nothing really." Pearl said, "What about you?"

((I was waiting for a response from the girl i was talking to but whatever.))

Pearl swam away. She swam to the surface.

Gwen sat on a rock far from the other mermaids. She hated that they could all turn human when they wished. She could never have legs, she thought as she stared at her red tail. She sighed as she dove into the crisp water. She reached the bottom in no time at all, only to find that ahead, about 20 yards from her, a gigantic pirate ship was sinking. In legends it was told that the only person who had power enough to break spells, were pirates, however you had to convince them.

She swam until she got to a deserted beach. She got out of the water. As soon as she tried off she was human. "And now for a morning jog." she said to herself

Hm. Why did Pearl rush away so early? Bailey hurrumphed. Oh well, I need to do chores. Bailey grimaced as she raced back home.

Gwen swam close enough to the wreck to hear a faint mumbling from one of the pirates. He had spotted an early morning jogger on one of the nearby shores. He gazed at her stunningly beautiful form.'

Bailey swam out of her shell home.

"Ugh! Look at the dirty scoundrel looking at my best friend!" Bailey scoffed.

Pearl looked around her and saw a pirate. She staarted to jog faster.

She jogged for a few more minutes before falling in the sand

Pearl sat there alone

((Ok. I shall join.))

Lii was swimming when she saw a mermaid leave the water and turn to a human. She changed to a mermaid so she could circle the island faster and watch her.

Pearl looked out at the water, she thought she saw someone

When she thought the girl wasn't watching, she jumped out of the water, did a flip, and came back down with a huge splash that soaked the girl.

Pearl's body was soaked, "Shit." she muttered before diving into the ocean. Her tail replaced her legs

((haha! luv it!))

So the girl was one of those mermaids. Made sense, in a way. She swam up around and twirled around the mermaid, back in her true nymph form.

"Are you the one who splashed me?" Pearl asked Lii

"Eh, maybe," Lii replied, laughing.

"That' not funny." Pearl said, "A human was watching me. He almost saw my tail unexpectently grow."

"Sorry," Lii said, but she didn't really mean it. She laughed again and swam circles around the girl. "What's your name?" she asked, idly kicking her legs and swimming right next to the mermaid.

"I'm Pearl." she said, "And you are?"

"Lii!" she laughed. She was always laughing. 'She's a silly child,' her mother had always told her.

"Umm..are you feeling alright?" Pearl asked the laughing Lii.

"Of course! I'm a water nymph! We're always bubbly!" She swam big loops and waited for Pearl to catch up.

"Oh." Pearl said, "I'm going back to the surface." she started to swim back up

Gwen was staring furiously at the pirate when she was interupted by sudden bursts of laughter from under the surface. She grimaced as she remembered how well mermaids could hear. She stared back over at the pirate, flailing over the fact that he was not interested in her beautiful half poise over the ocean, her tale whisking back and forward protected by the thin sheet of ocean. She finally decided the pirate wasn't worth it, as his captain was starting to get edgy, and her powers of charm had not worked on the pirate. She thought there would be more of him in the future, and struggled to get his name, reaching farther toward them to listen. Gussano, she heard, over and over again at the seamingly distracted pirate. She rolled her eyes at the silly name and dove down under to fond out what the commotion was.

Lii screamed as she saw something zooming towards them. She sighed in relief when she found it to be only Gwen.

Pearl got back to the surface and her legs appeared again

Lii shot herself towards the surface, left the water, and came back down again with a large splash. Life is good, she told herself happily. Life is good.

Pearl ran on the beach a little longer

Iris sat secluded on the beach with her arms wrapped around her legs. Yes, her legs. She was a shape-shifting mermaid. At least, she thought she was a mermaid. Maybe she was a shape-shifting human...

Pearl sat down on the beach near Iris

"Evening, Pearl," Iris smiled.

Pearl looked at Iris, "Hi." she said warily

"Are you okay?" Iris asked, arching an eyebrow.

"How did you know my name?" Pearl blurted out

Please tell me she didn't see my tail before she thought

"Do you seriously not recognize me?" Iris laughed, "We've known each other forever!"

"Sorry." Pearl said, "I had practice this morning and have been a little spacey since."

Yeah cause my team alomost found out I was a mermaid. she thought

"'S alright," Iris shrugged, "So, other than practice, what have you been up to?"

"Nothing really." Pearl said, "Some swimming, dancing, acting, and babysitting my sister."

"Fun," Iris nodded, slowly.

"So what have you been up to?" Pearl asked
