Thanks for posting the link, Cheryl. My tastes are certainly not in alignment with the Edgar jurors since I really did not think Caught by Harlan Coben was award worthy. I did enjoy I'd Know You Anywhere which just missed my final cut for top ten reads of the year.

Melodie (melodieco) | 3679 comments I haven't read a thing on the list! Usually I've read at least one thing, but not this year.

message 4: by Shomeret (new)

Shomeret | 1512 comments I read The Lock Artist: A Noveland liked it, but wouldn't give it an award.

On the other hand, I do think Wild Penance deserves its award nomination.

Ann (annrumsey) | 17143 comments Thanks for the link Cheryl! Like Shomeret I wouldn't have included The Lock Artist: A Novel as a top award nomination though I gave it a solid 9 of 10, or Harlan's Caught, same rank. Purely on her previous books and reputation of Tana French, I would think Faithful Place belongs on the list. I hope to get to it soon!

BarryP (barrypz) | 3524 comments I read 3 from Best Novel, but what really caught my eye was:
Expiration Date by Duane Swierczynski

I thought he was real up and coming, but seemed to hit the wall. Maybe time to try again.
