Well he was around 30 when exiled and put into a coffin for 30 years. Then when he was invited into cloud's group he was around 58. In advent children he was 59 and in Dirge of Cerberous Vincent was 60 exactly. It's odd though, I agree, he looks very young. Because chaos was infused within him, he became invincible and lasted a long time.

I need to high five you again! Sorry, but Genesis creeps me out a little. Zack's cool though, my favorite character other than Sephiroth.

T.t that nearly made me cry... Well I guess you have to really understand Genesis to love him. He is neither a good nor bad guy. That's one reason why he's a fav. Usually a carrie is straight out good or bad, or in seph's case good then bad or other way, but Genesis started out as Angeal and seph's best friend, he quoted from LOVELESS and yada. And after the most epic battle ever when they 'practice' Genesis realizes that he wants something more cuz he was always in seph's shadow cuz seph was best SOLDIER. Genesis wanted to be hero too and wanted to be looked up to and save the world and be known for who he is. Then he started believing and living the words from LOVELESS and searched for the Gift of the Goddess and tried to search for something more, to be better, not just in skills. He did do some wrong things. But he wasn't totally evil, just misunderstood and lonely. Then when he finally meets the Goddess at the end, he is rejected... And it breaks him. I believe he could have survived that battle with zack but cuz the very thing he believed in the whole time and worked for turns away from him without a word. That's why I like Genesis, I feel sorry for him and he is different than a first glance shows. Sry, I ramble. :D but once I start on something I kno and love I just got to get it all out :D

No, no, that wasn't rambling! Express your mind! Well I enjoyed reading your opinion anyways, it makes sense. I see, I believe he's a great character anyhow, his loveless quoting is very intriguing. Plus, without him, how would sephy know what he is? After all, it was Genesis that explained to Sephiroth about his actual "mother." Don't take any offense to my calling Genesis creepy, it's a quality that adds flavor to personalities, right? For example, you know Kadaj, from Advent Children? He's truely creepy, but it adds to his character! Well, good discussion!
