Hello, and welcome, class! Today we will be learning about The Hover Charm. Does anybody know what the incantation for this charm is, or what it does, perhaps?
Irene raised her hand, then said, " I know it, professor. The Hover Charm is a charm used to make object levitate. We have to switch and flick our wand. And the spell is Windgardium Leviosa. "She looked at professor, and hoped that she was right

"Very good job, Irene! 10 points to Slytherin. Would you like to demonstrate?" She pulled out a small quill. "Here. Use this as an example."
" Thank you, professor", Irene said back. She picked up the quill and placed it carefully on her desk. She withdrew her wand from her cloak, then waved it and mumbled, " Windgardium Leviosa". But the quill still didn't move. She tried a few times then she sighed, " I haven't try this spell before." She looked desperately at professor Danae.
Irene looked at the girl next to her and smiled, " Hello, I've heard that you from Gryffindor, what's your name?"
Chelsea snuck into class hoping not to be noticed. She already saw that they were working on The Hover Charm. Thank god! I know this one.
Aaron gave it a try and said "Windgardium Leviosa" as he switched and flicked his wand.. The quill started to levitate! "All right!" said Aaron happily as he grinned watching the quill levitate in mid-air
Chelsea looked over to where Aaron was sitting, and saw him levitating the quill. "Wow! He did that perfectly." she gasped.
"Good job, Aaron! And nice try Irene. You just need to practice a little." She said winking. "5 points to Gryffindor for success and 5 to Slytherin for effort. Class is dismissed! Have good night. Tomorrow we will be studying a new charm."
" Oh, just a little bad luck", she mumbled. But she smiled at Professor Danae for give her 5 points. " I definitely need to practice this charm." She said to herself as she walking toward the dorm room.
Lauren wrote: ""Lets go to our dormitory and I got some books from the library we can study. If you want to..." She said hooking arms with Chelsea""That sounds great, but I'm in Ravenclaw. We could hang out in the Great Hall though." she said as Lauren pulled her out of the room.
"Okay, class!" Said Professor Daughtry. "Today we'll be learning about Incendio. Now Incendio is a spell that creates fire. I'm always a little scared to teach this lesson because you never know what's going to happen... But, hey, I'm still alive after my 5 years of teaching. Does anyone here speak Spanish, Italian, Latin or Portuguese?"
"Um, no. I failed Spanish, when I went to regular school." she said as her eyes got bigger, hoping that she wouldn't have to speak Spanish.
Chelsea looked over at Kayla and said "Well that's better then what I can speak." She said nervously.
"I don't know any other language.. I'm one hundred percent English" Aaron Replied "Why do we need that for this lesson" Aaron asked
" Oh, I'm late for class again", Irene said as she hurried ran to her seat. " Uhm, what are we going to learn today", she asked loudly.
"whoa, the professor is busy ignoring us and playing a game of wizard chess with herself!" Aaron said laughing
" Honestly, I don't know anything about Spanish", said Irene as she looked around the class. " I just only know English."
((Night))"Yeah, me either. The teacher said something about an Inferno spell, then asked up if we knew Spanish, Italian, and some other languages." Chelsea said shaking her head, "Now she's ignoring us."
"Well, I can see none of you are really too familiar with the languages. But it's kind of cool, because 'incendio' means 'set fire" in Latin.' The etymology of this spell has very many different parts of the word, but they all mean something that has to do with fire. So, to teach you this spell, I will also be teaching you another spell to go with it. But not yet.... Class," she said as she passed out small wooden blocks on metal sticks. "I want you to use this spell on your block of wood. Afterwhich I will teach you the counterspell, which produces water."
Aaron preformed the spell "incendio" he said as we waved his wand around and BAM! The block of wood burst into flames!
"In-sen-dee-oh", Irene said loudly. And her magic wand conjured a flame. She backed up 'cause surprised.
Talia, in her own little corner as usual, was messing around with the block and accidentally set the curtain on fire as well.
"Woops"
"Woops"
"Good! 5 points to Gryffindor and Slytherin. Now, cast the spell, clearly pronouncing 'Aguamenti', and you wand should spout water, putting out the flame."
"Oh... Aguamenti!" And the flame was out. "Be careful, next time, Kayla... 5 points for effort, though."
Aaron moved back as his burning block of wood kept on burning away. He then performed the spell that Danae had told them about "Aguamenti" he said, but not clear enough.. then the burning block of wood started levitating! "UH OH!" Aaron said in shock as he backed away from the freely floating open flame
"Crap," muttered Prof. Daughtry. "Aguamenti!" And the flame was out, but it continued to leviate. Soon after, it dropped. "Good try, Aaron..."
" Aguamenti!", said Irene. But somehow, her wand didn't react anything. She just can only do the fire spell. Her block of wood was still burning now and she didn't want the whole table burn. " Aguamenti, Aguamenti... A little help please?"
"Oh, geez...." She ran around the classroom helping everyone. "Aguamenti! Aguamenti!" She did this for everyone and soon all the flames were out. "So... obviously we need more work on this one."
