Aerona walked onto the wide open land hoping to vent her frustration and worries about Demetrio here by cooling off in the chilly air.
Marcus glanced at his watch. An hour until Potions. He had time. He leaned against a tree in the cool air.
Aerona caught the sight of Marcus out of the corner of her eye. A sudden thought came to mind about him and something to do with the Yule Ball, but being the way she is, she brushed it away out of mind.
Marcus noticed Aerona. He wanted to go talk to someone, he was kinda bored, but he didn't make himself move. He rubbed his hands together to warm them.
While Aerona was taking her second glance at Marcus, realizing she didn't recognise him at all, she saw him look at her. But apparently he was just as lazy as she. The curiosity and laziness battled for a while, and curiosity got the best of it. Aerona walked over to the kid over there. "Hey," she said kind of akwardly. She wasn't the social type.
She looked at the outstrechted hand for a moment before she shook it. "Aerona. I haven't seen you around before. Are you knew, or just ditch class a lot?"
Apparently she wasn't the only one who was picky and choosy about her classes. "Depends on which classes I feel like going to, I suppose..."
Laura paced about the lawns, skirting about the shrubbery. She found a clear, deserted patch of sweet-smelling grass shaded by young maple trees, raised her wand, and yelled, "EXPECTO PATRONUM!"A silver light pooled out of the end of her wand and took the shape of a slender, brown, larger-than-life rat.
"Sparring, Ophelia?" Laura asked the rat, raising her eyebrow mischievously. In answer, the rat whipped a miniature wand from the air and let out a noise between a purr and a growl.
They began to duel.

"Don't remember which class this is... but I didn't feel like going today," she said smiling. Which was rare- she didn't ever really like to show her emotions. But apparently not today. "And I'm in my fourth, currently," she added.
Good looks, nice name, older but not too older... Yule Ball with this guy wouldn't be so bad. But she wouldn't ask him, of course. She would go to the Ball alone if she had to. It didn't strike her as the end of the world, like most girls would.

Marcus nodded. "Nice to meet you. Hey, umm....nevermind." I just met her. I can't ask someone random to the Yule Ball just because.
"No. Really...ack. Okay, I'll just say it." Marcus reddened a little and tried to recover his flustered talking. He failed. "This is going to sound crazy--and I know I just freaking met you, so I understand if you say no, but...." He was rambling. He hastily glanced around the grounds and picked a purple flower off a bush nearby and offered it. "Will you, Aerona, go to the Yule Ball with me?"
Aerona was nearly laughing the whole time, but held it in as not to sound mean. She took the little purple flower from his hand and said, "I'd be glad to," chuckling as she did.
"You're laughing! Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Marcus' voice had an edge of nervousness, then he processed what she had said. "Wait.... You said yes? SWEET!" He fistpumped in the air.
"A good thing in my case," she replied. She sort of laughed a little afterwards, but tried to keep her usual straight face. "I'll... see you then? Or sooner, if I see you before then..."
"Good, good." He grinned. "Yeah, I guess I will...see you around, Aerona." He walked off, a lilt in his step. Nice Marcus. You're cool. You're good. And she's freaking awesome. His smile split from ear to ear.
Diana pushed the main door open and went out. It was quite a sunny day so she had decided to go outside to study. She went down the stairs and went to sit in the shadows of one of the trees.
Diana waved at Irene from her spot under the tree. She thought Irene seemed like a decent and wouldn't mind being seen with her.
After having tried to write the essay for arithmancy-class in the common room, Felicia went outside to get some air. She sat down with her back against a tree and opened her book. She knew nothing about arithmancy and was almost bored to death at the mere thought of it, but ever since she found out that the teacher was a death eater, she'd been determined not to give him any reason to give her detention.
Diana looked at Felicia and smirked. It was actually quite fun how they found the same places to be at the same time, when the school was as big as it was.
(( How they found the same places... Because it's not like we plan it! ))Felicia hadn't noticed Diana. She was leafing through her book, trying to find out what the heck a fidnell was.
((Of course we don't! What makes you say that?! o: I have never in my life talked to you on MSN or Facebook about rp'ing in here!))Diana stood up and made her way to Felicia. When she reached her, she was standing beside her and looking over her to get a look on the book. Actually, she was just waiting for Felicia to notice her shadow.
(( And we are definitely NOT talking on MSN right now! ))Felicia looked up when she noticed Diana's shadow. Great. Just what I needed. She closed the book and faked a smile. "Black, how nice to see you."
((Of course not! Why would we be doing that? We are enemies, remember?))Diana smirked. "I would lie if I said I could say the same, just came over here to tell you to get away but then I saw you book. Didn't know you were smart enough for arithmancy but then again.. You probably aren't."
(( Of course. For ever and ever. ))"Smart enough to take the class," Felicia said. "Unlike you. I don't recall I have ever seen you there."
((Yir!))Diana laughed. "Of course not. Why take a class with a Hogwarts teacher, when father can teach me himself?" she snerred.
(( I just went to the kitchen to get some ice-cream, but the kitchen and the living room smelled really good, and then my dad is like: "Oh yeah, I have a cake in the oven." Sometimes I can't help but love my dad. ))"Yeah, well, that's your choice," Felicia said, not really wanting to get into a fight after the last time. "Now, if you could just leave me alone for a few hours, until I get this done, that'd be great."
((Your dad is quite awesome. I like him! Say hi to him and your mother from me! And your sister if she's home.))Diana picked up Felicia's book. "I don't think so. The fun is just about to start, so why would I leave you alone?"
(( I will, and she's not. ))Felicia grabbed her book back. Okay, trying to be mature, not working. New move. She stood up. "This time it's not gonna be fun for you. This is going too far, and I'm not gonna be expelled from another school because of you."
((Good! Hey! I was thinking.. What do you say about me coming over to you, if I have the money for it, when this month is about to end? :D))Diana laughed. "Well.. It wasn't my fault that boy came in the way, was it?" ((We did say a boy right? o.o)) She leaned closer to Felicia. "And just how are you going to get me expelled?" she said in a low voice.
(( I say that's a bad idea. I have exams, and as much as I wanna see you, I need good results. - And yes, we said a boy. xD ))"Well, I kinda hope they'll expel you for being who you are," Felicia said just as low. "I'm done talking." Quickly she got her wand out and pointed it at Diana. "Flipendo!"
So much for keeping a low profile...
((Well.. We'll have to wait to after the exams then. xD))Diana was not prepared and fell over. She quickly got up and pointed her wand at Felicia. "Furnunculus!"
(( Yup. Stupid world. And that spell is just gross. xD ))Felicia stumbled backwards, very aware of what that spell was gona do to her skin. Without thinking she pointed her wand at Diana and shouted the first spell that came to her mind: "Incendio!"
Diana screamed, not that she would admit it later, when the spell set her sleeve on fire. She knew she had to put out the fire, but her mind wouldn't cooperate.
No, no, no, no! Felicia ran to Diana , surging her brain for a spell to put out the fire. She tried aguamenti which only resulted in a lot of smoke. "OKAY, A LITTLE HELP HERE! ANYBODY?"
Diana was still screaming. Her mind was a total blank. She thought she might die and the worst part of that thought was, that she would die by the wand of a halfblood muggle lover.
"All right," Felicia said to herself. "I can't believe I'm doing this..." She got a hold of Diana and half carried half dragged her towards the castle. "Seriously?! Anybody?!"
Diana glared at Felicia as good as she could through the pain. "Just wait 'till my father hears about this," she mumbled before passing out because of the pain.
