Acacia I am waiting for the hunger games to come out, and I will base how excited I am for the maze runner on how good they do with the hunger games

Ashley | 2 comments Yay, I didn't know they were making a movie on this. Now im excited!

message 6: by Veronika (new)

Veronika (vforveronika) I haven't heard any new developments for this movie. I don't think this will be coming out anytime soon.

Bob | 12 comments This is a series of books that I've wanted to start also as from what I've read about it it looks like it would be very good. I can only spend so much money though. Drats!!! :)

David Estes (davidestesbooks) | 115 comments How about the library? Without that I'd be bankrupt lol!!

message 9: by Angel (new)

Angel | 9 comments Hey are these books any good??

message 10: by David (new)

David Estes (davidestesbooks) | 115 comments I thought first book was awesome, second was OK and third was amazing. I haven't read the prequel yet but haven't heard good things. Overall, definitely worth the read if you like dystopian :)

message 11: by Maria (new)

Maria | 30 comments The prequel is just as awesome as the others, it's my fav. because in it questions that are posed are actually answered!

message 12: by Dawson (new)

Dawson Owen | 4 comments I agree with Maria. I enjoyed all of the books. I think I read the entire series in a week lol
The prequel got mixed reviews, in my opinion, because the tone & characters were different. But it doesn't leave you with any unanswered questions.

message 13: by David (new)

David Estes (davidestesbooks) | 115 comments Ooh good! Ok, I guess I'll give it a try then :)

message 14: by Maria (new)

Maria | 30 comments For sure I promised that if the Maze Runner series left you slightly frustrated because of it's lack of answers TKO, does not! Although it's not based on Thomas, experience, it's the closest that I think James Dashner actually comes to telling us SOME parts of the mystery! Sorry for going over board with the info, I just finished the books, and I'm looking for an outlet!! ;)

message 15: by Angel (new)

Angel | 9 comments I think I'm might give this series a try :]

Cool, don't be sorry, your info helped convince me to read it :)

Mari | 8 comments If there's a movie on the way then I definitely need to read before I see it. I read a sample for it a while back, but maybe it wasn't enough. I'll put it on my to-read list.

Donna (donanicole) | 108 comments Saw the preview for Maze Runner when I went to see Divergent and am so excited to see it! Loved the books.

message 21: by Katey (new)

Katey The movie is released September 19th!
174 days cannot go fast enough!
I'm so excited for this film, and it will be something to take my mind off of Mocking jay, which comes out Nov 21! Which is an agonizing 238 days!

message 22: by Donna (new)

Donna (donanicole) | 108 comments Agree, can't be too soon. I am hoping the Legend trilogy will be a movie soon too. It is my favorite dystopian read for sure!

message 23: by Simone (new)

Simone Pond (simonepond) The Maze Runner might have to be my next read. I'm almost finished with "One Second After" which is pretty amazing.

message 24: by Katey (new)

Katey Did anyone read the kill order? I knows it's not about the same people, so I was just wondering if it's worth reading or not?

message 25: by Rich (new)

Rich I had been thinking about the Maze Runner series and it was on my list. I got the whole series read it all (enjoyed it a lot) and then I go see a movie recently and the previews shows.................The Maze Runner. I look forward to it.

message 26: by Angelina (new)

Angelina K. | 1 comments I'm reading the Kill Order right now but finished the three books after. I cannot wait for the movie. <3

message 27: by Lina (new)

Lina (theworldoffantasy) Loved the Maze Runner books and movies!! <3
They changed a few things in the movies (read the books before) but nothing to dramatic. I understand the telepatic thing between Thomas and Teresa, would had been difficult to implement in the movie. I like the version of the exit in the movie even more than the version in the book, because it was from the beginning absolutely clear the cliff in the maze has to be important. I mean, they found nothing else, so why they never had the idea, that might be the exit??
I'm so excited for The Scorch Trials movie, I'm sure, it will be even better than The Maze Runner movie :D
Does anybody knows, when the trailer comes out?

message 28: by Kathryn (new)

Kathryn (sscarllet) | 3 comments I haven't read the book, but I just picked the movie out of 100 randomly to watch on a plane. I really enjoyed it. The book has now been added to my ever growing to read list!
