Do you have any favourite words that are so AMAZING that you just have to share with everyone else?


For example: floccinaucinihilipilification

Which is real by the way. I learnt it in english today.
It is the act or habit of describing or regarding something as unimportant.

Oh, and it is pronounced

Flocky-Nocky-Na-Hilly-Pill-Ification

Slubgullion.
Tuba.
Snood.
Pogonophobia.
Rapscallion.

It just sounds so...hmmm...yeah. I just like everything about it. Like, the way it's written, in both English and Kanji, and pronounced. It pleases me.

Tylenol = like come on it just sounds so fun to say. its like - tie-lin-al

It's the name of a lake. It means something like "You fish on your side of the lake, we fish on our side, and nobody fishes in the middle."

Oh, and this is the third longest train station name in the world or something:

My sister knows how to pronounce it. It's Welsh. =]

My mother, brother, sister and I have all got Welsh names, as does a lot of my mother's side of the family. Mine's the only one that people seem to have trouble spelling or pronouncing though. A lot of people mishear it as Chesney.
And then I'm like, "what? why should T give you any trouble? It's not particularly Welsh!" O_o
