Isabell (purzel) | 50 comments I just came across two books by German author Jan Beinßen, which seem to be essentially the same. However, the new edition was "completely revised" according to the author's website.

The two books in question are Feuerfrauen: Kriminalroman (the original edition) and Zwei Frauen gegen die Zeit. (the new edition). The original version has been published in 1997, the new one came out in 2010.

Should both be combined? Perhaps with a note in the books description citing the fact of the revision? I myself are always confused when one book is given several titles and although this is a slightly other case I would tend towards combining the editions but thought it best to hear other opinions as well.

An afterthought: The author's website doesn't list the old version anymore as an edition of its own, but only mentions it briefly on the page for the new edition.
