Autumn had the idea of having a thread to celebrate birthdays. If you feel like sharing, feel free to post your birthday. You don't have to list the year. We'll be happy to share birthday greetings with you. I am going to make a post for each month. And I'll go back and fill in your days as you post them.

I remember that day well.... I saw my daughter was calling me on the phone and I thought aww she is calling me to wish me a happy birthday lalalalal and I answered happily and then ......... she said TURN THE TV ON MOM! And that was the end of my happy birthdays..............

That's awful, Faithmarie. I was feeling bad that my sister-in-law died on my birthday but that is so much worse. But let's focus on good things instead. You were born and made the world a little brighter :)

In Manhattan we like to remember 9/11 as "celebration of life" even as painful as it was to witness that (i was 3 blocks from it..)
