The Model Charracter Profile:
Name: A wolf is born with a name reflecting some aspect of nature (ie Flaming Fire, Whispering Wind, ect) and it doesn't have to rhyme or have the same letter to begin each part.
Gender: Dog (male) or Vixen (female)
Age: Pup, young, adult, older adult, old
Dominance: Alpha, very dominant, respected, average, Omega (not dominant)
Appearance: Please describe the eyes, pelt, and body in about three fairly detailed sentences. If you're going to say "pretty blue eyes. gray fur. long tail." then don't bother trying to write three sentences. A picture link can complement or replace your description.
Personality: Please try to describe the personality in about three to five sentences. You have a lot of wiggle room to leave it unfinished and update it after you have roleplayed it some. Please try to develop in-depth charracters. It's no easy task but once you get roleplaying them it's so much fun!
Kin: I recomend having at lease one kin, because it's a great way to develop an interesting charracter. After a name, list in parenthesies the relationship (look at other charracters for an example). If they are deceased, mention that in parenthesies.
Mate: The mate should be their crush and there is no need to put both. If they have a crush and no mate, simply change mate to crush. If they're too young, just keep it at "too young".
Other: By the time you fill out the apearance and personality, there shouldn't be much else to say, But this is a great place to put their history or anything else that's important.

I have heard that second in charge it called Beta, and the lowest-ranking wolf is Omega, and everything else in between is Gamma...but I may be wrong. Just saying.
Alpha Pair:Male and Female leaders of the pack. They often bond, or mate, for life, until either one dies.
Young Subordinates:
Male and Females, including the Beta Wolf (the second-ranking wolf)
Juveniles and Pups:
Both sexes. Ranks within this position can range anywhere from scout to caretaker ((except for pups. Until they grow older, they just remain the 'pack pups')).
The Omega Wolf:
Male or Female scapegoat (bears the brunt of the pack's frustrations and harassment and may be the last to feed, or will go without food when it is scarce).
(got information here... http://www.angelfire.com/ca5/magic1/R...)
I just thought this would help out with the ranks.

The inactivity policy for the roleplay charracters is that after two months of neglect, a charracter will be considered inactive. The owner will have one month of warning before the wolf is deleted or put up for adoption. Alphas have two weeks before they are considered inactive and two more weeks of warning. Only have as many charracters as you can keep active. Each player may have one alpha, and no player may have only dominant wolves.
Keep your charracters' profiles updated. You may leave it unfinished and come back to it after you have roleplayed your wolf. If you can't edit it, copy and paste it with the apropreate changes. Please put pictures in link form- html format can crash peoples' internets. Make all charracter profiles according to the Model Charracter Profile below.
Keep the roleplay fun and interesting. Don't stomp on other people's plots or do something durastic without consent. Make romance fun and interesting and back off if another player doesn't consent to your wolf's crush on their wolf.
Don't make worthless, totally shunned losers or flawless, undefeatable wolves because that's not how dominance works. No wolves with x-ray vision, untrasonic hearing, and lightning reflexes. Having your wolf do something cometely uncalled for (like single-handedly fending off a rival pack) annoys other players and is unrealistic. And obviously, don't make your wolf know something it shouldn't (especially a private conversation whispered from the opposite side of camp). Controling other peoples' charracters is strictly prohibited.
Very important: these are gray wolves.
