Stefan: brooding and mysterious, he seems to be the only one who can resist Elena, even as he struggles to protect her from the horrors that haunt his past.

Damon: sexy, dangerous, and driven by an urge for revenge against Stefan, the brother who betrayed him. Determined to have Elena, he'd kill to possess her.

Collected here in one volume for the first time, volumes one and two of The Vampire Diaries, the tale of two vampire brothers and the beautiful girl torn between them.

The Fury and Dark Reunion (The Vampire Diaries, #3-4) by L.J. Smith
GR summary-Elena: transformed, the golden girl has become what she once feared and desired.

Stefan: tormented by losing Elena, he's determined to end his feud with Damon once and for all—whatever the cost. But slowly he begins to realize that his brother is not his only enemy.

Damon: at last, he possesses Elena. But will his thirst for revenge against Stefan poison his triumph? Or can they come together to face one final battle?

Collected here in one edition are the third and fourth volumes of The Vampire Diaries, a riveting conclusion to the tale of two vampire brothers and the beautiful girl torn between them.

Nightfall (The Vampire Diaries The Return, #1) by L.J. Smith

And now, torn between the love of two vampire brothers, she must face an ominous new danger. A demon has descended on the quiet hamlet of Fell's Church and seized the minds of numerous young girls. As his power grows, it becomes frighteningly apparent that this infernal force will ultimate threaten the whole world. This enthralling trilogy series extends L. J. Smith's teen-pleasing Vampire Diaries series. Addictive suspense.

Shadow Souls (The Vampire Diaries The Return, #2) by L.J. Smith
gr summary-On the run . . .

In order to find him, she entrusts her life to Stefan's brother, Damon Salvatore, the handsome but deadly vampire who wants Elena, body and soul. Along with her childhood friend Matt, they set out for the slums of the Dark Dimension, where Stefan is being held captive. It is rumored to be a world where vampires and demons roam free, but humans must live enslaved to their supernatural masters. . . .

Midnight (The Vampire Diaries The Return, #3) by L.J. Smith
gr summary-The vampire love triangle that spawned hundreds of thousands of fans-and inspired a hit television show-concludes in this powerful final volume of The Vampire Diaries. While the trio reels from this latest twist, they must still deal with the demons that have taken over Elena's hometown, Fell's Church. As in every L.J. Smith novel, no matter how dark the night, there is always a happy ending. MIDNIGHT takes Elena, Stefan, and Damon to their darkest moments yet...Danger, romance, and paranormal mystery will keep readers fascinated with this captivating finale to the New York Times bestselling series.

Rach (pagesofpiper) (piperbunny) One from the past that I loved as a child/teen which I've not read in years: Switchers (Switchers, #1) by Kate Thompson + Midnight's Choice (Switchers, #2) by Kate Thompson + Wild Blood (Switchers, #3) by Kate Thompson (it's about a girl who can switch into an animal!) Or the collection: Switchers Trilogy (Switchers, #1-3) by Kate Thompson

The Escape (Henderson's Boys, #1) by Robert Muchamore + Eagle Day (Henderson's Boys, #2) by Robert Muchamore + Secret Army (Henderson`s Boys, #3) by Robert Muchamore + Grey Wolves by Robert Muchamore (but you might need to be familiar with the Cherub series by Robert Muchamore, it's a prequel series!)

(What Catherine's psted - Night World!)

I'm so behind with my series anyways so whatever we pick I'll be happy :)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Someone did a Tairen Soul nomination! That series is SOOOO good - in my top 5 of all time, and my favorite for fantasy. (kind of adult though, haha)

I'm reading Chaos Walking this month :) Well, at least the first one, may have to wait to down the whole trilogy for time's sake.
