Greetings, fellow readers! I was very happy to get to know all of you through our goodreads tool, and I thought I would go ahead and use this discussion thread to recommend a couple of books I just finished processing for Tech Services. They're coming your way soon, and they are great picks for the Adult SRP!
Keep an eye out for Sea of Lost Dreams: A Dugger/Nello Novel. This novel follows three companions who set sail for the South Seas after a moonlit jailbreak in 1921. Readers who enjoy sea travel, world travel, and the 20's era should try this one out.
Also, you might enjoy San Diego Noir, now that we have acquired some few dozen copies of this quality paperback. I'm interested to see how our fair city and the noir genre meet in this collection of stories. They will appeal to noir readers and those who like to read books that are set in southern California. I also think it might be a good recommendation for younger people who might not like to read very often. It might have just enough darkness and some recognizable geography to keep their attention. Let me know if you agree/disagree!
Happy reading!
Kristen
