Books Without Borders discussion

I am doing 60 books again this year and I also have a few other goals for this year:

A-Z (where I read books that begin with each letter of the alphabet)

Shelf/Library (No buying books all year, I can only read the books I already own or get from my library)

Banned Books (Reading one banned book a month)

Woohoo! Go Colleen! I hope this group doesn't create a problem with the shelf/library challenge.

I am really good at finding loopholes, so I will find a way.

I was able to read 55 books in 2010 without setting a goal at all,so I thought I'd attempt to kick it up another notch and go for 75-90 in 2011.I'm not doing the "shelf" but definitely the "library".I've also made a pact with myself that if I purchase a anymore books, it must be gently used book and I must give away/donate/sell one from my existing bookshelf first. It's working thus far 8-)

I really like that idea about "get one" and give/donate/sell one... I just put several up on book swap and already got rid of two... but also got two... lol but i tried...

How's the book swap working for you?

It's pretty good. A little slow but good.
