Bearpaw padded around camp, jumpy with excitement.

Tigereye watched him, narrowing her eyes. She began to groom herself.

Bearpaw saw her looking at him and smiled at her.

Tigereye glance up and nodded to him. "Why are you so excited?" She asked, still narrowing her eyes.

Bearpaw shrugged, "It's a new day and a new adventure."

Tigereye rolled her eyes at the apprentice. "For me its a new day of working until I pass out. I hate hunting." She said, scuffling her paws in the dirt. "Unless its for fun."

"You're no fun to be around." Bearpaw told her.

She shrugged. "I just live in reality." She sighed and started out of camp. "If you really want to hunt, follow me." She said, and continued out of camp without waiting for an answer.

Applekit toddled out of the nursery, her eyes bright. "I want to come!" She squeaked.

Bearpaw laughed, "I'm sure you do."

She nodded. "Yep." She bared her teeth. "I'm gunna be a warrior some day!" She pretended to swipe her claws. "And be leader!"

Tigereyes chuckled to herself.

Bearpaw smiled, "Well I'm sure you'll be a warrior."

Applekit nodded, and began to run out of camp.

Tigereye snatched her up by the scruff of her neck and dropped her in the nursery.

Applekit whined a little, but soon fell asleep.

Tigereye headed out of camp, and quickly found a plump rabbit and dashed after it.

Bearpaw looked around camp.

((Its getting boring, we should have something cool happen. Any ideas?))

((I think we need more people to rp.))

Applekit bounced around, trying to look cheerful. She couldn't belive she still had a whole moon until she could become a apprentice!

Tigereye killed the rabbit quickly and came back to put it in the fresh kill pile. She looked proudly at the rabbit.

Lotuspaw walked over to Applekit, "How are you doing?" Lotuspaw asked the kit.

Applekit nodded. "Good." She said.

"How much longer until you become an apprentice?"

"One moon." She sighed in despair. "I really am going to work hard. Then I can become a warrior the same time Bearpaw and you become one!"

"I'm so close to being a warrior you would have to work really hard to catch up with me." Lotuspaw said.

"I will!" Applekit squeaked. She pretended to swat at a mouse. "I can already hunt really well!"

"I don't doubt that," Lotuspaw purred.

Applekit smiled up at the she-cat apprentice. "Thanks." She said sweetly. She glanced over at Bearpaw, who looked clueless.

"What are you looking at?"

"Bearpaw." She mewed, nodding to him. "He looks funny. He's staring off into space."

Lotuspaw laughed, "He hasn't been focused on anything lately."

Applekit nodded.

Bearpaw padded out of camp.

Applekit longed to go out of camp, but she was still a kit. She scraped the dirt floor out of anger.

"What's wrong Applekit?" Lotuspaw asked

"I really want to go out of camp." She whined.

"I could take around the edges of camp where you can't be hurt," Lotuspaw offered.

Oakclaw walked over to Tigereye

Tigereye nodded to him.

Applekit nodded eagerly. "Yes yes yes!"

"Come on and stay close to my side" Lotus paw said walking toward the edge of camp.

"What goes on?" said Oakclaw.
