Mount Ida is a mountain that lies very close to the city of Troy; venture in deep enough and you will be surrounded by a beautiful menagerie of exotic animals and (unfortunately) monsters. However, the gorgeous serenity of its deep wooded glens (sometimes one may stumble into the ruins of an archaic temple) make the trip worth it.
