Hogwarts School For Witchcraft and Wizardry discussion

This class is taught by Professor Hemlock.

This room is in the middle level of Hogwarts. Relitivly large, two-person tables line the room neatly, facing a chalkboard. On the chalkboard sits multiple peices of chalk, an eraser, and a basket of extra quills. In front of the board sits a large desk, obviously the Professor's. It is filled with neat staks of parchment, and a few extra quills. A young woman, probably in her late twenties, stands behind the desk. Her hair is long and mouse brown, it tumbles freely down her back. The Pofessor's eyes are sapphire blue, they scan the room for any flaws. She flicks her wand at a peice of chalk, which rises and writes her name on the board: Professor Hemlock.*

*Airi meanders in* So so sorry I'm late, Teach. Won't happen again, probably. *looks around* WHAT?! I'M ACTUALLY ON TIME?!?!? Oh no no NO! This'll totally ruin my rep! AAAaaaaaahhhh!!! *runs out of the classroom*

Prof. Hemlock:

*waits for students to arrive*

Prof. Hemlock:

*frowns after Airi* Young lady! There is to be no screaming in my classroom. *the door magicly closes and locks* Now, please take your seat.

*whispers* Noooooo! *scratches at the door with her fingernails and sinks to the floor*

Prof. Hemlock:

*stands and walks over to Airi, peers down at her* To your seat, please. Now.

*crawls to her seat and hoists herself up, then a thud is heard and her head falls on the desk, stricken by angst*

Prof. Hemlock:

*voice loses the commanding tone* Sit up, dear. I don't understand what is wrong with being on time. Why can't you be on time? *the door unlocks, but not before the Professor binds Airi to her seat with a sticking charm*

((Hahaha, you know her too well. ;D ))

*tries to adjust herself in her chair as she sits up, but finds she can't..and can't..and can't. She mutters under her breath and sighs* Because..because then I'd lose my swagger.

*smiles sympatheticly* Don't worry, dear. If people start to tease you, tell them it wasn't your fault, it was mine. By the way, my name is Professor Hemlock. What is yours?

Oh I don't care if they tease me. If they mess with me, I'll just hex 'em. The name's Airi, Professor Hemlock, pleased to meet ya. *shakes his hand*

((HER.))

Prof. Hemlock:

Good to meet you too, Airi. What do you know about Tranfiguration?

((Oh, HER? I dunno why, it sounded like a guy to me. ...muh baaaaad.))

Very little. *beams*

Prof. Hemlock:

Well, that's why I'm here, eh?

*nods and takes out a notebook and quill, for the first time feeling sort of excited for a class to start*

((Gotta wait for other peeps before I can really start class.))

Prof. Hemlock:

Glad to see you looking so attentive, Airi. *smiles*

*knocks* May I come in?

*Ivan walks in and see's airi. He goes and sits by her*
Hey you're on time. *smirks*

*Knocks, then comes in*
Morning, Professor. I'm Aaron.

*smiles* Good morning, Aaron. *to Gus* Yes, of course you may come in. *looks at Ivan* Good morning. Who are you?

Ivan, ma'm.

Ahh. Well, hello Ivan.

What's the assignment?

*walks in*

Hello, you two. I'm glad you're here. Class just started. *the door swings shut and locks. Raps wand on desk* Okay, class! Welcome to your first day of Transfiguration, the art of changing one thing into another. As you all know, I am Professor Hemlock. I think we will start with introductions. Why doesn't everyone, one at a time, stand up and tell the class something about themselves? Aaron, you may start.

Uh, I'm Aaron. Used to be a First Year, then I transfered to fourth year. Oh yeah, my dad used to coach a Quidditch team, but now he lives in Boston and coaches basketball, a muggle sport.

*smiles* Very good, Aaron. Anusha, you're next.

Oh, and Professor, here is your gift. *Uses a spell to transform his apple to a cupecake. Presents it to her* I hope you enjoy it.

Prof. Hemlock:

*smiles broadly* Well done, Aaron! I certinaly will, don't worry. Five points to your House!

Well I am a second year(i think ?) Well I live with my aunt, my parents are......not exactly here, my favorite color is blue and my favorite sports are soccer and swimming also a muggle sport.

Prof. Hemlock:

well I'm Ivan... I'm a sixth year. I transferred from durmstrang. *shrugs*

Prof. Hemlock:

Good to know. Airi, you're next.

*whispers to self* I wanna hear what Airi wants to say.

Prof. Hemlock:

Mister Aaron? Is there something you'd like to share with the rest of the class?

*giggles*
