I have seen a radio station concert with a bunch of bands there, Jonas Brothers, a concert that i was forced to go to with my lil cuz which was the cheeta girls......it sucked, and im going to go see SecondHand Serenade and Rock the Bands concert to.
I'm goin to ACL Fest!! But I went to the Panic concert and loved it.
I've never been to a concert...
speaking of concerts,I have a band concert tonight at 7pm. I'm supposed to be there at 6:35. we're playing 5 songs and they're calledWashington Post March
Hunts of Belle Meade
For thy courts above
Ghosts in the attic
Reeds of Distinction.
I play the 1st trumpet part and I'm in 8th grade. I'm on team 7 which is also team fire. team 8 is team ice. but all the n8th graders for tonights concert are going to play both 8th grade teams combined and I don't like that idea cause we're all playing the same songs and it doesn't sound as good with 2 bands together. all the 8th graders I think have the same band instructors. also, for band lessons, one of the instructors pulls you out of band for 20 minutes to do your lesson while the other instructor conducts the rest of the band with music. and only a section of instruments will have a lesson. like all the trumpets will have a lesson. or 1st flutes will all have a lesson.
who are they? One time one of my band concerts was 3 hours long!!!!!!!!!!! It's because my band teacher hired these jazz musicians to play at the concert after 1 band performed then the other band performed and the jazz played. I did not like the jazz musicians coming to the concert, nobody cared for that. the parents just wanted to watch their students play or their children if you prefer. it was so boring at that concert. it was the worst concert.
The most recent concerts I attended were for The Drive-By Truckers, Fishbone, and Gogol Bordello. Drive-By Truckers are probably one of the most talented groups out there. Fishbone puts on one of the most energetic live shows ever. I think I lose at least a couple gallons of water in sweat from one of their shows. Gogol Bordello also bring it with high energy slavic gypsy punk rock (another show where I left totally drenched in sweat and exhausted).
From dancing and enjoying the music. Unless you are listening to a concert full of slow paced music, what is the point of just sitting there? Your body hears the music as much or more than just your ears! I like to fully experience the music as much as possible.
I don't go to a lot of concerts. I went to one in 4th grade, Raven, but mostly I go to Eggmen concerts (cover band for the beatles)
