I love the characters in Killer Cows. Dave has drawn them so carefully, I can see and hear each of them. That's the making of a good book to me.

I purchased this book and it's on my TBR list. Lately, I've been reading for review so I'm a bit behind. I remember a time when I was a kid and I trespassed into a field with my sisters for a picnic in the summer. We fell asleep in the sun (contrary to popular belief, there are one or two sunny days in England) and woke up to find ourselves surrounded by smelly cows. The memory still scares me.
