Warriors discussion

Deerclaw was organizing herbs.

Crystalstar sat in her den

Wolfbane was pacing camp, bored.

Deerclaw walked out into the clearing.

Wolfbane looked around, then headed out of camp. He had important stuff to take care of.

Rosebud sat by the border, hoping no patrols came.

Wolfbane padded up to her. "You disgust me." He growled.

Rosebud sighed and looked at the ground. "I just want my kits to be safe."

Crystalstar walked out of her den and looked for Wolfbane

Wolfbane shook his head. "It'll take moons to make Crystalstar accept the kits. Try someplace else."

Rosebud frowned. "I want to come with my kits too."

Crystalstar started walking toward the border.

"Deerclaw," said Jadeflow, "Have you seen Wolfbane around?"

Wolfbane snarled. "Go to Thunderclan! They love half-breeds!" He turned to walk away, leaving Rosebud sad and depressed.

Crystalstar saw Rosebud at the border and walked over

Rosebud looked up in shock. She quickly dashed away, back to Shadowclan.

Wolfbane decided to hunt on his way back, and stalked a squirrel.

"Is every one out of camp?" Jadeflow said. "I thought i saw Deerclaw here a moment ago..."

Wolfbane entered camp with the squirrel in his jaws. He dropped it into the fresh kill pile, and groomed himself next to the nursery.

"Oh! Hello, Wolfbane!" said Jadeflow. "How are you doing?"

Crystalstar walked into camp, "Wolfbane what did that Shadowclan cat want?"

"Good." He nodded to Jadeflow. He turned to Crystalstar. "She was just doing a patrol and slipped over the border." He lied. "I don't know why she was here, it looks as if Shadowclan is sending queens out to do patrols."

"Can I go hunt, Crystalstar?" asked Jadeflow

"Hmm... they must be low on warriors I will ask at the next meeting, and yes Jadeflow you may go hunt," Crystal said, "just don't cross the border."

Wolfbane stretched, not worried at all. Rosebud wouldn't rat him out.

Crystal walked back to her den

Wolfbane grabbed a mouse and began to eat it slowly.

Marisa said: "Hmm... they must be low on warriors I will ask at the next meeting, and yes Jadeflow you may go hunt," Crystal said, "just don't cross the border."


Jadeflow said"OK" and walked out of camp

Wolfbane finished eating and padded into the warriors den.

Jadeflow went near the border and sniffed the air.

Wolfbane decided to take a nap, so he fell asleep quickly.

Jadeflow sented water vole so she carefully stalked it and.......

Wolfbane dreamed of hunting, and becoming leader of his clan.

Pounced on the vole, killing it with one bite

Wolfbane woke up quickly. He padded out of the warriors den and padded out of camp, ready to hunt.

Crystal got a vole out the fresh kill pile and started eating.

Jadeflow sented someone coming. It was Wolfbane. "Hmm," she thought.

Wolfbane trotted towards the river, and stood silently on a rock. He waited until the right moment. He quickly stuck the water, landing a medium sized fish.

Jadeflow watched Wolfbane catch a fish. She sighed. She liked Wolfbane, but he didn't seem to notice her.

Wolfbane turned around at the noise of Jadeflow. "Hi" He mewed, then continued to watch the river carefully.

"Oh, hi, did you see my vole, look how plump it is!"

Wolfbane nodded, looking at it. "Thats cool, Jadeflow." He said, turning back to the water. He struck again, but nothing came out. He sighed in his anger.

"Here, try this." she said sitting down at the edge. "You want to wait for a shadow, then, you STRIKE!!" A plump fish landed on the bank beside her.

Wolfbane looked impressed, but at the same time embarrassed. "Yeah, but I think my way is a bit more effective. Didn't you just become a warrior?" He asked defensivly.

"Yeah... Is that a problem?"

"Well, I'm almost a senior warrior. If anything, I should be teaching you stuff." He said, starting back to camp, his fish tucked in his mouth tightly.

"Hey, wait up!" she said, bounding back to the vole and chasing after Wolfbane.

She caught up to him by the camp entance. "I'm sorry if i embarassed you while we were hunting. Wanna share a fish?"
