And yesterday, because of a mix-up by her publicist, my wife Elizabeth had to fly to Memphis, rent a car, drive to Oxford, MS, to read from her new novel, The Revenge of the Radioactive Lady, for twelve minutes on the Thacker Mountain Radio Show -- not that we're complaining. We're really not, but ugh, it is a lot.
