don’t act like you don’t care when you do, it makes it look like you care moredon’t pretend you know things you don’t it just makes you look like a fool
don’t smile when you are hurting on the inside, it just means you can’t express yourself
don’t hold back tears in the face of tragedy, it means you are too weak to except feelings
don’t hide who you are to please others it just means you are afraid to face them
don’t pretend because it can only last so long
What if we could move on in lifeand not get caught up on the past
What if we could all find a love
and forever it would last
What if we could all be free to have dreams
and then make them come true
What if I could save you
I was human once, but that was along time ago. Now I am a monster, I can barely remember the days I was not. I have lived this way for so long, hundreds of years and I am no longer capable of feeling regret anymore. That is what I thought until I discovered something about myself but that is latter in this story. After I met you.
I am getting published again =) this is the poem I whispered a secret to the wind
it slipped out from my lips
and floated up ‘til the clouds thinned
and into the air and it drifted by
up past the sun then across the universe
I sung a song to the trees, and they grew
they swayed to the beat
and voices true
whispered the words to the world, sweet song
but the people don’t listen
so my song drifts out of the atmosphere
and across the universe
Listen to the world around you
always alive always stirring
and whispering things to you
that you don’t bother to hear
so it never lingers
so it floats away beyond your outstretched fingers
and they drift across the universe
I danced with the wildflowers
and they hummed a tune
we swayed for hours
but at a high cost
in the end the music was lost
and floated away up and across the universe
I told you I loved you but you didn’t listen
I just felt you stiffen
at my side
and then my words, lone in the night
drifted away like smoke from an extinguished flame
up and far away across the universe
