... I just said, that's completely normal...
Dude, who are you to say you're too old for that? You're still a kid.

I LOVE DAYDREAMING. :D
Occasionally I fall asleep while I'm daydreaming...xD Ah, ignore me.

I had a daydream about Spyro.
I was still trying to de-thrown Princess Schmedwina...
Maybe I should stop right there. xD

*ahem*
Once upon a time in a land not-so-far-away but not-so-close, there lived a family. And they lived in a house. In this house, they slept. And one night, while they slept in the house that they lived in, the little girl of the family had a dream...
I was dreaming about having a dream. Then, I woke up, not remembering anything from my dream. I could tell it was a Saturday morning, because I didn't feel sleep-deprived and no one was home. Going about my usual routine, I went to the kitchen for some eats. Then, for some weird reason, I went to go get the mail e.O
I NEVER get the mail.
But I did this time. And when I stepped outside, I was on a mountain-cliff-thingummy. o>O I turned around to walk back inside the house, but it wasn't there. I was so confused. Then I kindof ignored the fact my house poofed and made my way all ninja-like to a village I'd seen at the bottom of the hill (using my eagle-vision, of course)...
I'll finish the rest later. :p

I day dream all the time.
Hell, I day dream before I fall asleep.
Often, that's how I fall asleep.
Then my day dreams and regular dreams (and possibly freakish nightmares) are blended.
Like the model I used for Peyton in The Concealed is UBER hot, so I was day dreaming about going on a date with him and then I fell asleep and we were in India and I was like 'Yo, what just happend?'

I totally daydream ALL the time. I look forward to uninteruppted daydreaming time in the car or before I fall asleep. I thought it was just me. Apparently not. My daydreams are weird... apparently I'm not the only one who daydreams about being at Hogwarts or on the Enterprise instead of their crush...

I also daydream about telling off my health teacher. Or giving him a good well deserved b*tch-slap. Whichever comes first^^
Or both at the same time.
ZOMG (that was for my brother's benefit), I just typed (or, as my Keyboarding {AKA typing} instructor says, "keyed") 'both' as 'bothe.' I do this all the time...

Unless you've had severe psychological trauma or abuse, you shouldn't worry...

I paint music and thought all the time. It's called automatic art.

I wish I could do that. I haven't the patience to keep a dream journal, either. I sometimes write, though.

Ever read the book The Night I Disappeared? I think the main character had that, though she was never diagnosed. It fits.

You can control your daydream. You can not control your dreaming at night.
Well, depends, Shay. Some people can control their dreaming, meaning that they know that they're dreaming.
Lucid dreaming-- that's a whole different matter.
I had a joint lucid dream with my friend James once. Unbelievable but true. We had a conversation in the dream. And we were quoting each other.
No, Maggie, I haven't. Is it any good?

A lucid dream, in simplest terms, is a dream in which one is aware that one is dreaming. The term was coined by the Dutch psychiatrist and writer Frederik van Eeden (1860–1932).
A lucid dream can begin in one of two ways. A dream-initiated lucid dream (DILD) starts as a normal dream, and the dreamer eventually concludes it is a dream, while a wake-initiated lucid dream (WILD) occurs when the dreamer goes from a normal waking state directly into a dream state, with no apparent lapse in consciousness.
Lucid dreaming has been researched scientifically, and its existence is well established.

How do you not get that?
It's a dream in which you think to yourself, "I'm dreaming." And you can control that dream however you want. I had a joint lucid dream with my friend once, which basically meant we met each other in our dreams and had a conversation, one which we both remember and can quote from.

I get it now. I've known I was dreaming before, but have never been able to control it...
You spelled octopus wrong.
Wikipedia is generally right. I did a report on that last year for French. You can check the viability of the sources by scrolling down to the bottom.
I've always been a lucid dreamer.

I'm addicted to daydreaming, especially about my favprite books and my own stories. I talk to my charries. I visualize a scene...the problem is, I'm way too old for this.
Anyone else?
