Jerry | 850 comments It's so horrible! As if the 8.9 earthquake weren't bad enough, there's the tsunami, the fires, and the leaking nuclear plant!

Fariha (damn you SketchUp!!) (fariha1234) | 1212 comments on top of it hawaii has also been hit by a tsunami though the damage isnt that big and california is under warning!

Michele bookloverforever (lovebooks14) | 158 comments Well, the Pacific Rim is awake once more. I lived in San Francisco in 1989 and that quake was a strong one. I feel very sorry for those people displaced because of the quake and the many displaced because of the malfunctioning nuclear power plant. This shows why we need to explore solar power, wind power and other "green" sources of power. Here in the U.S., 3 Mile Island is still off limits and in Russia, Chernobyl will be off limits for thousands of years. Devestation from an earthquake takes a lifetime to disappear, devestation from a nuclear accident lasts for thousands of years.
