For the April book lets just pick any Christian Romance and then for May we will figure out how we will go about future books. So everyone can nominate one book. Please post the link using add book so we can all look at it. I will give us 10 days and then I will use Random.org to pick the book. :) I will keep a list in this first post of all the books that are nominated.

I will nominate:

Also if its a kindle freebie let us know! I know fools rush in and a very special delivery are.

message 8: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) I read A Very Special Delivery last month, loved it! And yes, Fools Rush In is also a Kindle freebie, yay :)

Are there any specific criteria for the book group? A genre, or does it just have to be romance?

This month its just romance then next month we can start to narrow it down if we like.

message 10: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) Coolies :) I don't know if I'll be able to join in with all the book groups I'm part of (I'm a poor student and I just had to pay a deposit on a flat this month, and buy my fiancé a birthday present, eek!) but if I can, I'd love to. So I'd like to nominate a historical romance, Lady in the Mist by Laurie Alice Eakes. It's not a freebie, sadly, but it looks good!

O I want to read that one as well Rachel! Of course you can't read all the books but its fun to have some choice and know others are reading it as well. :)

message 12: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) I wish I could read all of them! There's the thrill of seeing all the suggestions and waiting for them to be picked. I'm such a geek when it comes to books :P All of these books look deliciously tempting...!

Beth (bbulow) Thorn in My Heart by Liz Curtis Higgs

Cathy | 1 comments These all sound like great books! I'd like to nominate
Petticoat Ranch (Lassoed in Texas)
by Mary Connealy

Janice Thompson (booksbyjanice) | 1 comments Hi friends,

If you do decide to pick Fools Rush In, I'd be happy to do a chat session with your after-the-fact. I had such a blast writing that story and love to talk about Bella, DJ and the gang. :)

O that would be really neat Janice! The book will be picked randomly.

message 17: by Debbie (new)

Debbie (debbiekaufman) | 4 comments I'm up for any of these nominations, but I'd like to throw in Janet Dean's Wanted A Family for consideration.

message 18: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) Ooh, that one looks good too! Beautiful cover :)

I would be honored if you'd consider my book LOVE FINDS YOU IN GOLDEN, NEW MEXICO for a pick some month.

message 20: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) Lena, I have your book on my wishlist - it looks great! I'll definitely be up for reading it if anyone nominates it (already done my vote for this month, sadly). I've yet to read any Love Finds You books but they all look wonderful :)

Lena are you nominating it? You don't have to ask for it to be considered. Any author can nominate a book of theirs.

message 22: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) Yay! Abbie, that's a great idea for authors to nominate their books.

message 23: by Lena (new)

Lena Dooley (lenanelsondooley) | 21 comments Okay, I nominate LOVE FINDS YOU IN GOLDEN, NEW MEXICO. You can read the reviews here and on Amazon to get a feel for the book.

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) Exciting! :)

message 26: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) Abbie, is the book being selected today or tomorrow? I wasn't sure if the 20th was the last day to vote or the day it was getting picked.
