I was thinking of having greek rp

It's, like, based on greek gods and goddesses (myths in general)...

I wanna start it though, just not sure yet cuz I thought you might wanna have mainstream fantasy only.

Well that was the initial idea when creating this forum. I'm not sure myself. We don't have enough people yet in my opinion, have you ever noticed that when you rp 2-3 rps at the same time, your posts get worse then when you solely focus on one thing?

I guess, it's like your mind is split up and you can't produce as good ideas as it should've been with one rp.

It's okay. With more people, definitely, and probably when at least one of the rp would finish (which I know would take ages and ages 'cause not all have the same plot you have in mind and it gets out of hand as they keep adding stuff..etc).

It doesn't get out of hand. My plot is too general. We find three leaders, then a big war erupts, we win. Along with some on-the-spot events like the demon in the plaza. Plus the rp ideas of everyone else.

This is what is called a controlled rp. A few general pointers towards which we move, and do whatever the hell you like in between.

I like this idea. I'd be all for roleplaying with someone and writing out the Eros and Psyche myth or like...Ares and Aphrodite.

Yeah! I'm a total mythology fan and I'd really be into recreating a myth with our out dialect and spin on the characters. Everyone has their own take on the myths so it would really never get boring.

Well... although it may seem fun, an rp called "Greek Mythology" will provoke everyone to choose a god and start rping. That just seems too narrow to become anything serious.
How about we make the gods be on their own, and create characters as the inhabitants of earth? That way it's more realistic and it leaves more possibilities in whoich the plot can evolve.

How about you have a section were people introduce themselves.

I know that but what's the point of creating a topic where all your ever going to do is say, "Hi, I'm ____"? You can do that in the Chat topic.

Anyway I think some sort of arabian/aladdin like roleplay would be cool.

Ehh but I don't have a plot for it yet. More like random thought swirls blowing around my head that make me burst out random things in math class, jot it down in my notebook, and then turn scarlet as I realize everyone is giving me that 'uhhhh she's completely lost it' look agian.

Well organize them, and you know what to do if you want to post.

i like teh idea of aladdin. of all the princes in the disney movies... he is my favorite!
