Immortals After Dark discussion

Rok's name was confirmed in the "characters getting a book" list. We've heard about everyone in that list, and Uilleam is even getting a book now but nothing's been said about Rok and his HEA.

What we know about Rok so far:

Rok – Smoke Demon

* first appearance in Dark Needs at Night’s Edge
* second in command of Cadeon’s mercenary squad
* fugitive in two dimensions living under a terminate with extreme prejudice order
* over 6 foot 6
* black hair, silvery horns, blue eyes

Rok & Nix:

I know some of you (many of you) are probably thinking he's not good/powerful enough for Nix and why speculate about Nix's HEA now? Because speculating is fun and we don't know anything about Rok and his story yet!! What if we find out he's got super magic powers and is perfect for Nix? :D Of course this can be said about any other hero in the running for Nix's mate. Still, I'm really interested in him and I wonder why we haven't heard a peep about his book yet? Why keep it a secret?

Maybe this is a clue that Rok's book will be one of the last ones.... especially if he's Nix's mate!

We also know that Rok was subject to being snatched out of the crrent plane by some unknown female. Now I never thought of him in this context, Saucyminx, but what if he's being waylaid by Nix? LOL. It would be just the kind of thing she'd do!

since I posted this thread, I realized that Nix and Rok have met! In the end of Cadeon and Holly's book.

I love Rok, I seriously thought I was the only one wishing he'd get his own book. When KC did.her FB questions I was the one who asked about Rok specifically :) I was thinking he may end up with Regins cell mate.

She lumped him in with the others that were getting a book. So yep! I.did the happy dance. :)

That's a really awesome theory! And you just made Rok sound so appealing! I'm actually excited if that's the case.

Me too! Whether or not she pairs Rok and Nix, I can't wait to read about him! He sounds like one sexy demon. :D

Saucyminx, I just remembered in Dark Desires After Dusk, Nix was growling over the idea of "lickable" horns. She was even making "scratching the air" motions which totally made me laugh! Maybe she's showing her predilection for "horny" demons??? LOL.

I am really happy Rok is getting his own book!

What I wonder is how long his swimbo ("she who must be obeyed" - the female that pulled him out of this plane in Cade's book) will have summoning power over him. Is it forever? Does anyone know or have a guess?

Ooooo, I forgot about Rok's swimbo...lol Hmmm, there has to be more to her hold over him! KC loves to give us a itsy bitsy taste and have us salivating for more...lol And we love it!!!!!!!
