Featherstar streched and padded out of her den. I hope I can survive with only me and my medicine cat. It's going to be harsh this leaf-bare.
((time change, right after the Gathering.))
Featherstar padded into camp with th Gathering patrol behind her and said to them all, "Alright, go to your dens, and get some good rest. Especially you, Jadepaw. I'm doing serious training with you tomorrow."
"Okay, Featherstar." Jadepaw yawned, and padded into the apprentice den and fell asleep almost immediantly.

Brightwing ran up to her leader,"What was with Shadowclan breaking that poor cats leg?" she asked her.
"I don't know Brightwing, I just don't know," Featherstar said, dissapointment in her meow. "Let's go to sleep now," she told Brightwing, and padded into her den.
Featherstar's sleep was restless, and she woke up several time throughout the night, thinking about her small Clan and what would happen if one of the rival Clans decided to attack.
Featherstar again woke up, tired beyond explanation. She finally padded out of her den to greet dawn and almost tripped over Brightwing.
"Yes, Brightwing? What is it?" Featherstar said, wondering if she had been given a message from StarClan.

"Oh, well thank you. I'm okay, just a little tired. I couldn't go to sleep last night, so I thought I'd get up now. Jadepaw and I need to go hunting, we're a bit low on fresh-kill. I'll go wake him up." Featherstar padded over to the apprentice den, a bit dissapointed. She had hoped that Brightwing had had a sign from StarClan.
"Wake sleepy-head!" Featherstar yowled, "Dawn patrol and hunting!"
"Wha-?" Jadepaw yawned, still half asleep, "Okay, I'm coming." He stood up and streched, then padded out sleepily.

"Are you fancying anything today, Brightwing? We could catch something special for you." Featherstar offered.
"I'm going to catch the biggest squirrel today!" announced Jadepaw.

"Okay," Featherstar replied, then padded off to do the patrol with her apprentice. "Now today," she meowed, turning to Jadepaw, "You'll be learning to attack your opponnet without them expecting it. You'll have to practice this all day, sneaking up on me and attacking me, claws sheathed," she added. "I'll teach you this later when we're at camp and you've eaten. I'm sure you're starved."
Jadepaw nodded his head eagerly, he was excited to learn his new attack, and to have eat something.
