I learned about this show from some other members on GoodReads. Has anyone seen this one, yet? There's the BBC version and the American (or Canadian?) version. I started watching the British version and I like it so far. A vampire, a werewolf and a ghost are room-mates and trying to live 'normal' lives. What are your thoughts?

Kathy Hiester (kathyhiester) I love the American version but I haven't got a chance to catch the BBC version as of yet.

Yolanda Renee (httpwwwgoodreadscomyolandarenee) | 7 comments I began watching the show when it first came out. I like the BBC shows, Coupling was funny! I haven't seen the American version of Being Human, but last Saturday's BBC show may have stopped me cold. It's gotten too much like a soap opera -- with people who live with each not knowing the basic facts about one another. A little too much unbelievable drama, then again maybe it was the bringing back of a character I really hate, and not love to hate, just hate. It's the ghost character that kept me coming back, she's a real doll and has the only true unique storyline. Oh, and the ongoing pity party for the vamp is getting real old, but when Saturday comes around and I'm bored, who knows.

I know write -- that's really what I'm supposed to be doing isn't it. Caught again.

I love the ghost character, too! But, I must say, the vampire is HOT! lol I started watching it this Season, so I'm really rather confused about some of the plot lines. I heard its on Netflix, so maybe I'll have to get a subscription to catch up.

Yeah, I should be writing, too! ;)

Yolanda Renee (httpwwwgoodreadscomyolandarenee) | 7 comments I never did get into the American version, actually got caught up in the writing. But that's a good thing right?!

Hopefully they'll do a marathon and I can indulge. I did hate the end of the BBC version, and yes lots of characters dropped out fast. Ending wasn't good at all and the child being 'what' I never did get that one.
