I thought I would just list a few of my fav. series (PRN,UF). I would love to see what everyone elses fav are too:)

ok I cheated I gave you 11, and to be fair I have not read Kresley Cole, Gena Showalter, Molly Harper or Larissa Ione yet but they are on my TO READ list that grows daily.

Cheryl you should def read all three series, but I would def read Kresley Cole's series soon! It is amazing:) I keep wanting to try Laurell K Hamilton but I get nervous from some of the negative things I've heard about later books... What did you think?

What are the reading order for the books in that series?
and for those who have read it how is it??

im looking for something with a good romantic story line but I also want the sex action violence all that goodie stuff lol!
And yes Keri Arthur is just amazing the Riley Jenson Guardian series is one of my faves:)

Midnight Breed is wonderful too... well I have only read the first one, but they are similar enough to the BDB though different enough to enjoy ... you will love their group of warriors too!

I was curious about the dark hunter series because there are so many books to the series and I read so fast so i figured that would b a good thing lol

I copy and paste well...LOL Hope you enjoy them!

This may get me killed (or at least booed at) but I didn't really Love the Dark Hunter series. It was good but all the books started running together and had a lot of the same story line, and the characters seemed to blurr together. I made it to book 7 and took a break, but I might revisit it, because I would like to read Acheron's book. I did really like the whole greek gods element to it, it was def. a creative way to go with the vampires.

As far as a series with Romance, Sex, Action, Violence...I would say a few good bets would be The Midnight Breed series, The Immortals AFter Dark series, or Lords of the Underworld by Gena Showalter. Also the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning has a lot of action, and violence, and plenty of sex toward the later books, and it has romance too but not the main focus, but for me that made it all the more powerful when it came around:)

And Cheryl I agree the Midnight Breed is pretty simialar to the BDB. The first book was my least fav, but the story line starts to arc over several books and they just got better and better. The Hero's arn't quite as sexy as the BDB, or Immortals After Dark in my opinion but still pretty hawt!!!

Shellbelle: No one is going to boo ... if we all had exactly the same taste ... how boring would that be! But that said ...read Acheron's book. It will break your heart and make you love him. Totally different than the others. When I was reading I had to keep putting the book down and doing something else between chapters .. so intense! I love the books so I am a bit biased!

Thanks Cheryl:) I really have been interested in his book, but there are still have 8 books left in bewteen where I left off and his book *sigh* I'll eventually get there. And I don't dislike the books, in fact I enjoyed them at first, but they just sort of got blah for me. But maybe if I give them another try, I'll have better luck!

It's kind of funny for me to read your post on the various groups, because I do the same thing you do!:) I antagonize over which series to read, and get tons of opinions, read reviews, ect. ect. ect. and then I still have a hard time making up my mind! And then I read it and if I like it I tell my friends and family who read and enjoy never having to do any of the work! LOL:) (I actually really enjoy sharing good books!)

Anyway, I would def. suggest the Midnight Breed series. It was the series I read directly after reading the BDB, and I auto buy this series:) It's really good, and it's one of those series that just gets better with each book. I also really highly recommend Kresley Cole if you haven't read her, or Gena Showalter.
Hope you find something you really enjoy!

I know Im horrible when it comes to picking out a series to read lol but when I end up getting it I usually always end up liking it lol!

But I think its settled im ordering Midnight Breed lol

The Dark Hunter Series is AWESOME! I think there are about 15 books...I have them all...best way to get reading order is Kenyon's website...and she has some hunky pics of the guys!!!!

I am a huge Dark Hunter fan...yes, I'm a Kenyon Minion, but I will agree with you, that after Ash's book, they just weren't the same...I do HIGHLY recommend you read Acheron!!!!

I like the fact that there are alot of books in the series im just worried they will all just start running together! And there are 20 in the series lol

I mean regardless i know ill end up reading the series sometime lol

Riley Jenson is one of the best series that I have read when it come to shifters. Keri Arthur is a wonderful writer.

I also enjoy Kelly Armstrong, although I haven't read as much of her stuff.

Some of my faves you already have listed(You can't BEAT BDB!!!) If you haven't red JR Ward's Fallen Angels series, it is really good-I just love anything she writes!
I have recently started the Kresley Cole series and it gets better by the book!
I enjoyed The House of Night series-kinda teen oriented, but still pulls you in.
Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost is one of my VERY favorites...it also has a spin-off known as Night Huntress World-these books will NOT disappoint!
Also..."Fallen" and "Demon" by Kristina Douglas are really good

MMMH MMM I am reading Immortals After Dark now and the sex scenes are...well....OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol You will REALLY enjoy them! lol Haven't read Dark Hunter yet but I have gotten the first 4 books in the series so I will have them rady. Midnight Breed I really enjoyed as well. I think I love too many series!! lol

On the Kristina Douuglas novels..I listed them as "Fallen" and "Deomn"-I was wrong...the SERIES is "Fallen", the first book is called "Raziel" They are really good Fallen Angel books!
