THE END OF MAXIMUM RIDE is (as far as I know) the last book in the Maximum Ride series. :(

In totally random news... I'm thinking about getting a parakeet or two. For no reason whatsoever except for the bird in Glee (view spoiler)[who died (hide spoiler)].

You think? My mom doesn't seem to like the idea, but my room's been pretty pet-free for a while now. I really want a turtle or a snake, but the small turtles I want are apparently illegal to buy and snakes seem too lazy. Birds would be fun. Plus they're totally beautiful.

I know, right? I mean, look at this! (I totally have not been looking up stuff about parakeets all day long.) And when I was younger I used to go into this local reptile store and stare at the turtles. Stupid salmonella. Ridding the world of turtles and cookie dough. And if I had a snake, I would name it Fluffy.

Haha, not sure what you're referring to with both of those. :D The more I think about it, the more I want one. But I'm already asking my parents to pay for half a laptop for my birthday, so I'll probably have to buy it on my own. For summer, maybe?

My friend got a parrot...So cute. Haven't seen it in person, though. Yet.

Ooh, that's awesome! With my research, I was surprised to find that parakeets can actually be taught to say a few things, just like parrots. :) My old elementary teacher had an African gray parrot, and he was so fun. Parrots live for, like, an entire human lifetime, though. Not up for that commitment.

Me too! It's so fun. Plus they're super smart, so you can teach them tricks and stuff.

Oh. I hadn't thought about that. Parakeets last for 10-15 years (told you I wasn't researching about them all day XD), so that may be a problem.
