DivisaderoThe novel, Divisadero, is a Fiction and Literary Fiction novel. The novel, Divisadero, describes the family’s life, basing in the Canadian’s life and the quotidian tragedy that happens in the real life. However, the novel, Divisadero, involves the devastated experience, the turbulent imagination, and contemporary love. I pique this novel because is relate about a family who starts from the scratch to the middle class. Also, has romance, suspense, mystery, action, drama, crime, and so on. When I first read in the back of the novel, I read many important opinions from different expert readers, and the writing of this novel is clearly, understandable, and simple. And, the author, Michael Ondaatje, is the winner of the governor general’s literary award, which tells us, that the way of he writes novel is much reasonable, and capable to understand from a teenager level to adult level. Michael Ondaatje wrote two famous books, The English Patient and In the Skin of a Lion, that contains passion, loss, and the unshakeable past. Finally, I look forward to enjoy and dedicate my time to read this interesting novel!
