I thought I'd already posted my nomination, but must have forgotten to "post". I can't recall what I suggested so I'll go for The Gallows Curse by Karen Maitland.
Does anybody know where The Gallows Curse is available in the U.S. "Amazon" says it is not available.

I just finished Suspect. I was not sure if I liked the protagonist,Joe, thru out the story. But in the end he started patching up his relationships, so overall I think Joe is good guy. I think I'm going to read the next book in the series.
EricThe next book "Lost" is wriiten with Ruiz as the narrator. It takes some getting used to, probably since Ruiz is not a very nice character (or I'm prejudiced by his heavy handed behaviour in Suspect). From the start I liked Joe in the first book, but that maybe me routing for the underdog.
What did you think of the writing, pace and plot?
