Dang girl. You are on a Kleypas roll. I'm glad you're reading them so you can tell me which ones of hers you recommend.I think I'm going to skip the rest of Bow Street for now and go right to Again the Magic/Wallflowers.
Wow!! Go Heather. I completely forgot about her Gamblers books. Stacia: Is the Bow Street ones too boring or something?
I liked the first one, but wanted it to be more humorous like her Wallflowers series. Instead of being romantic humor, it was more like suspensful romance, which was fine, but I was expecting something else. I still enjoyed the book enough that I'll read the rest of them at some point, but it's not what I'm in the mood for right now.
These are more between Bow Street and Wallflowers. Not as intense as Bow Street and a bit more snark. It seems like these are almost a prep for the Wallflowers. They're just different because that's what the genre called for at the time.
I enjoyed book 1, and having fun with book 2. I think the difference is that you had all of the girls together, or you had the sisters in the Hathaway series. You don't have them playing off each other, which makes a difference, but the girls are stubborn and have some snark to them.
