Here is the post for all our challenges on Layers of Thought.

This is a huge post which includes all our challenges - this particular challenge is linked somewhere in the middle of the post. I will add update links here with my reviews on Goodreads (which link to the blog) as well as those links of reviews by John (husband) from our blog.

First review is The Oracle of Stamboul. 4.5 stars - historical magical realism.

Two reviews based upon the US civil war by John. I think they will be categorized as thriller?

The March ~ EL Doctorow a 3.5 stars from him.

The Killer Angels ~ Michael Shaara a rare 4.5 stars from him.

And a historical horror (I believe) which scared the heck out of me:

The Afflicted Girls I gave this a 4.5 star too. Loved it, indie or self published as well.
