What was the first/last ebook you purchased?
Hi Sue,My first e-book was Pacific Nightsby Lynn Lorenz. It was also my first foray into m/m and I've been hooked since. My last one, oh so coincidently was Rougaroux Social Club: Bayou Dreams also by Lynn. I download in PDF onto my little laptop which I can carry anywhere. Oh, and I also love reading erotica on the train. Best part of my morning and evening.
I'm glad I'm not the only one, Penny. It gives me great satisfaction to be reading it on the train packed full of sober commuters.
It's funny though, when you giggle or make some sort of Ahh, noise and everyone looks at you. I also talk to the characters in the book. Saying aloud, "What did you do that for. Oh, you're going to get it now." or "He loves you, you idiot!" I've had people move away from me when I do that. Gets me some free space though... Mmm, maybe I should do it more often, but then maybe not. I might get thrown off the train.
Most people will just stick their head down and ignore the crazy woman. I sometimes listen to podfic from my fandom and then wonder why people are looking at me oddly when I'm grinning like an idiot.
I don't know what podfic or fandom are, but yeah, a grinning woman on a train, not a good combination. But don't you just love knowing you're doing somehting not accepted a social and no one knows?
I can't remember the first- I had the microsoft ebook reader on my computer, and read there- I was amazed that I could make the words bigger! I thought, this might save my eyes!
I got Indian Country Noir from Amazon yesterday for my kindle. I am seriously in love with the kindle. I don't have to get out of bed to buy books. I just whip over to my kindle store, (giving my thumb a bit of exercise) buy with one click, take a deep breath, and start reading. It can't be good for us, making it so easy- right?

I can't remember my first either. I had been reading short stories online quite a while, mostly on the Sci Fi site which no longer exists. Then I discovered Fictionwise and downloaded a few sci-fi stories. The last book I bought for my Kindle is Lynn Flewelling's Glimpses: A Collection of Nightrunner Short Stories.
My the first was so long ago! I know I bought it in 2005 but what book it was for sure I don't know. It was before I got in MM so it was a MF book. Last book I bought was actually a group of 7, Fictionwise sale! *sigh*
I honestly don't remember what my first ebook was since I've bought so many of them but I believe the last might have been Sam's Reviews, which I really enjoyed.
Hi, my first ebook was something by Kresley Cole and the last one was "Bait" by Alex Sanchez. My first m/m-book was Ransom!
My first Ebook was "The Wanderer" by Jan Irving. The Last Ebook I bought was "Perilous Partnership" by Ariel Tachna.
I cannot remember my first ebook, but I remember I put it on my PalmPilot. Yikes, that dates me. Last ebook was "With Abandon" by JL Langley.
I don't remember my first ebook, that was 500 ebooks ago. My last was Syd McGinley's Out of the Woods, which I'm still reading.
The first one was I'll Be Your Drill, Soldier and the last one was A Note in the Margin Even though I keep buying them for the convenience factor I still miss being able to put books i like on my shelf or give books i hate away >.<

I've been giving my books away- the paper ones- with a Bookcrossing number inside! My son and I do this, leave books around town with a note- released into the wild!

Well my last ebook is The Eye of Heaven by JoAnne Soper-Cook from my batch buying spreeI dont remember my first coz I bought my ebooks in batches.
Sarah wrote Even though I keep buying them for the convenience factor I still miss being ab..."What a lovely idea. I don't think I'll do it with my erotica books though.
I'm not even going to tell you what my very first ebook was because I am such a true nerd at heart but, I'm currently reading
I bought it the instant I finished
because I have a new favorite author to add to my growing list :)

My first ever ebook was an m/m anthology called Everyday Love, written by Bast and Sekhmet. It's from a tiny fanfiction-heavy press. Maybe Requiem Press? I have it tagged with the date: March 8, 2008. I just stumbled on it somehow. Wow, how my life has changed since then!
The last ebook I bought was Not Knowing Jack by K.A. Mitchell, but that was in a group of three that includes Resistance by L.M. Turner and Life in Fusion by Ethan Day. I've bought a few non-m/m romance ebooks, but most of my book-buying dollars go to that genre.
And... I love my Kindle!

My first was Rachel West's Everything Under the Sun, and my last were the batch of six I bought yesterday, although the one that prompted the purchase was Andrew Grey's A Troubled Range. I love A Shared Range, so I had to have the sequel!I actually think I might've bought an ebook or two some years ago, but I couldn't begin to tell you what they were. Guess they didn't make much of an impression. :)
My first book was Broken Boundaries and the last I bought or better, I preordered, wereLover Unleashed, Love Sexy and Oliver's Heart.
I FOUGHT ebooks for a long time. I resisted getting an ereader for years, even though I read like a woodchipper. But finally I realized how fantastic the Kindle is because my husband bought me a Kindle DX for my birthday a couple years back... and that was the end! My first ebook purchased was (I think) The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco. And the last one I bought was Scoundrels in Law which is research for the next book.
I LOVE reading e-romance on the train. There's something so fantastic about the juxtaposition of NYers reading the Post and me reading about rimming.
Damon wrote: "I LOVE reading e-romance on the train. There's something so fantastic about the juxtaposition of NYers reading the Post and me reading about rimming." Dying of laughter. I used to read (any) romance furtively and think, "Everyone is looking at what I'm reading." Now I'll sit at my daughter's ballet class openly reading a dp scene and think, "Hmm, he's flexible."
I don't remember my first ebook ever, but the first I bought through Amazon was Willow Bend. The last one I bought was Pisces: From Behind That Locked Door. I will agree there is something fab about reading something totally pervy in public places.
It was Dear Santa by Jaylen Storm that was my first ebook
Then I ordered Dear Mr.President by the same author.
The last book I purchased was "Stoned Honor" by Faith Folau
.It is the memoir of the native Hawaiian, transsexual and part-time dominatrix, whom I had the interesting privilege of interviewing for Queer Magazine Online. She is quite the firecracker. ;-)

I have no idea what my first ebook purchase was. My today ebook purchase was Rode Hard, Put Up Wet plue books 4 and 5. Friday I will buy 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. I generally buy 10 ebooks a week. I'm addicted.
Damon wrote: "I LOVE reading e-romance on the train. You brought a smile to my face on a boring grey Tues morning in London *lol*.
My first ebook was Stephen King's Under the Dome. My latest download was Patrick Rothfuss's Name of the Wind, which I have not yet read. However, m/m romance now makes up over 80% of what is stored on my Kindle--starting with Mary Calmes's A Matter of Time and most recently Ethan Stone's In the Flesh (love those gay mysteries). Like Damon et al, I get a kick out of reading it on the bus to work and thinking "if you only knew what I'm reading and how much fun I'm having..." I love my Kindle. The only problem is I'm now buying 2 or 3 times as many books. At least I don't have to find room for them in the house anymore!!!
Andi wrote: "I love my Kindle. The only problem is I'm now buying 2 or 3 times as many books. At least I don't have to find room for them in the house anymore!!!Oh, I so hear you. That "instant gratification" thing is deadly--I buy way more books now than I ever did. And I don't reread the way I used to--there are so many books out there I haven't read!! Used to be I'd reread stuff while I waited for my Amazon Care Package to arrive... :D

I own a Nook and a Kobo. I also buy way more books than I did before. My first ebook was "The Lion of Kent" by Aleksandr Voinov. My most recent purchases were "Lover Unleashed" by J.R. Ward and "Darkest Secret" by Gena Showalter.
Hi!The first ebook I purchased was Unleashing Angel by Mel Spenser, and the lasts are The Untold Want by Catt Ford and A Different Breed by Angel Martinez.
I have to get an ebook reader soon, because right now I only can read them home, and I get bored between classes at the university.
First ebook (PDF - 1 1/2 years ago) The Assignment by Evangeline Anderson and the most recent (Kindle - yesterday) Sebastian's Wolves by Valentina Heart.
The first ebook I bought - barely two weeks ago - was Cut and Run by Madeleine Urban and Abigail Roux. The last ebook I bought, a couple of days ago was A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. I have a Kobo ereader and I LOVE it!!
The Suicide Effect by LJ Sellers. I'm reading it right now...and it's terrific--a fast-paced, gripping thriller. I just discovered this author recently and am working my way through all of her mystery/suspense fiction.
Lori wrote: "My first was With Love by JL Langley and my last was The Servant by Mary Calmes.""With Love" was awesome! Thanks for mentioning it!
I'm reading nonfiction- Stonewall: The Riots that Sparked the Gay Revolution- its very good, with lots of characters I feel like hugging.
I noticed the other day, when I was trying to search down memoir that was written about the riots, that many of the classic memoir or biographies from the 70s and 80s are not available in ebook format. I hope we don't lose all these voices. Somebody needs to get these books e-published! I wish I knew how to start, I'd do it myself.

Okay, looked it was Shane's Fury and High Flow both by Stephani Hecht. Sorry DSP, neither were from you. ;-) (Way back on Saturday)
I suppose last DSP book wasParis A to Z by Marie Sexton.

However having lost my last Kindle within a month of getting it, I'm a bit peeved. I loved reading erotica on the train.
