I recently read Forbidden Fruitby Amanda Bozeman. She is a new independent author. I loved it!!! I can not wait till she puts out another book.
I Loved After The Leaves Fall by Nicole Baart She has two more follow ups to that one, "Summer Snow" & last "Beneath the Night Tree". The 1st took a little while to get in to. The second was so good I read in one day. Beneath the Night tree only took three days due to not haveing a lot of time on my hands.
Jill Mansell is a great chick-lit author. A couple of her books were freebies for the Kindle -

. Both were funny and entertaining. I also downloaded
because it was a bargain book, and I expect it to be fun like the other two were. :-)
I really like Sophie Kinsella, Emily Giffin, also...as well as Jane Green, Claire Cook, and Jennifer Weiner!
