message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

How was I supposed to know you were a Matrix fan? Besides, you asked the question, expecting a truthful answer. So... I gave it to you.

I'm not a Matrix fan, I just KNOW THAT IT IS MORE POPULAR. c'mon! What do you here more often, a matrix reference or a full house reference?!? And this has NOTHING to do with which you think is better.

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, truth be told, I've never heard anything about the "Matrix" in my life.

message 9: by Rachel, Deputy Headmistress (new)

Rachel (BusterBrownBay) | 622 comments Mod
Liar. You lie. You are not speaking the truth.

HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THE MATRIX?!?!?

Not possible. Although, I learned about full house less than a year ago.

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't normally lie...and I don't know. I think I've seen movie posters about it, but merely to that extent.

Same. I have heard of Full House, though. I am not at ALL into pop culture, though, so, you know.

OH YOU THINK IT'S OVER???? HA! IN POP CULTURE, WHICH HAS MORE REFERENCES?!!!?? I WILL FIGHT THIS SUBJECT TO THE DEATH!!!!! NEVER, IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, HAVE I EVER SHOWN A LIKENESS FOR THE MATRIX, UNTIL THAT FAITHFUL CONVERSATION WITH E. I. SHALL. NOT. LOSE. IM SORRY IF I SEEM A LITTLE ANGRY OR OBSESSIVE, BUT THAT'S MY PERSONALITY AND IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU WERE AQUATINTED WITH IT. MATRIX HAS BEEN PARODIED SOOO MUCH, IT'S BECOME AS COMMON AS STAR WAR REFERENCES. AND LET ME TELL YOU-

I need to go take my medication...>.> I'm just... Going to lie down... For a bit...

Was that a whose line reference E?

message 18: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (ezepeze11) yes!! yes it was!

and i do find it very amusing that you feel so strongly towards the matrix right now when if you go back like a couple months (a year?) you would have been like matrix yea, so what?

haha you could have picked anything and you are now going to fight to the death for matrix!

which, you are going to lose by the way. just thought warning would be fair.

message 19: by Elizabeth (new)

Inception VS Tangled

????????????????????

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

My vote goes and forever will go to Tangled. However, Inception is a pretty good movie. I admire the people in charge of like graphics and stuff; they did a fantastic job. But nothing beats the charm that comes from the Animation of Tangled.

haven't seen either :/

Olivia (oerose) | 1252 comments Mod
Neither have I, but my friend who I pretty much always agree with as far a movies go, hated Tangled and loved Inception.

Just saw tangled!

Not very good. But... It's ok.

BUT CHUCK WAS AWESOME!!!

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

Not very good?!?!?! Well, that's probably because you didn't get the surround-sound humongous screen theater experience! It was absolutely stunning in the theater. And you probably couldn't hear a lot of the dialogue, seeing as I couldn't. Did you really expect to enjoy it on the bus, watching it on that tiny screen?? Noopppeee.

Rachel (BusterBrownBay) | 622 comments Mod
some plot points were kinda dumb...

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, the tears were....interesting. What else was there?

message 37: by Rachel, Deputy Headmistress (new)

Rachel (BusterBrownBay) | 622 comments Mod
everything.

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, you can't blame the movie. It was only based off of the original storyline.

message 39: by Rachel, Deputy Headmistress (new)

Rachel (BusterBrownBay) | 622 comments Mod
And it did that a lot. Rapunzel (sp?) being an artist, the evil chick's name being Gothel.... it did have a lot in common with the original storyline.

Well, it's been a while since this topic was last active, but I have a movie debate topic- Happy Feet vs. March of the Penguins. Discuss.
