Baxter is a reliable cop with a quick, witty sense of humor. He's probably the highest profile cop under Eve's Command, with the exception of Peabody. He's got quite an eye for the ladies, and Eve often calls him on it. He doesn't seem to mind, though. In fact, he's quite proud of his baser character traits.

I love Baxter too. I think is was Treachery but he wants Trueheart to take his test for detective. I am soooo glad.

Does anyone watch Psych? There's an Officer McNab on that show (which is hilarious), but he TOTALLY reminds me of Trueheart!!!!

I agree with you. I looked at his age, 33. I thought no way, but because he looks so young he would be perfect.

Ohhh I love the relationship between Baxter and Trueheart. Especially in..what book was it...maybe Portrait in Death, where Trueheart gets kidnapped and Baxter gets all turned inside out and realizes how much he does care for him. Awww Trueheart is such a cutie.

Yeah, he is like 7 years too old, but he's tall and super cute and has a killer smile... :D

Yeah he is much older than Trueheart, but he looks really young. I think that has to be the requirement for Trueheart, rather than the exact age.

I am a fan of Psych as well and think he would make a good actor to play the role despite the age difference.

I am curious if there are fans of Rookie Blue television show who think one of those characters may a good fit. No shared character names come to mind there though.

I absolutely love Baxter....and Trueheart is such a cutie in my mind and the two of them really compliment each other
