Chick Lit discussion

Hy everyone! My name is Andrea.
I haven't read chic-lit before but I've started it a couple of months before and I enjoyed every second of reading it (it was Can you keep a secret and Remember me by Kinsella).
Can you help me? What do you think of Jennifer Cruise? Is she any good?
And can you suggest me other authors or your favourite books?

My favorite author - okay, well some of those that I love all thier books include Emily Giffin, Marian Keyes, Sophie Kinsella, Lauren Weisberger, and Candace Bushnell. They each have several books out spanning the last 10+ years so there's plenty to choose from:)

Out of the chick lit authors, I am a fan of Emily Giffen, Lauren Weisberger, and Sophie Kinsella. I do not particular care for Candace Bushnell. I don't like her writing style, but love Sex in the City as a t.v/ cable show

I also think that Kinsella is great...
Many people told me about Emily Giffen - I think I'll choose her for start! :)

Emily Giffin's Something Borrowed is an awesome book. So is Heart of The Matter. Try those!! You won't be disappointed!

I agree - Something Borrowed was my favorite of hers - by far!! She does such a fantastic job creating characters; I literally have to remind myself that it's just a book - not real life!

Definitely start with "Something Borrowed" - it's her first and the movie comes out next month.

Hi, everyone. I new to this group. I'm a mystery/thriller girl who is new to chick lit.

I recently read by Lisa Lim. It is the Lisa Lim's debut novel. It was the first ever chick lit book I read and I really loved it. And now I feel like reading more chick lit.
