Just wanted you all to know that April is my 2 year anniversary on goodreads!

Pick A Shelf was the first group I joined and it is still the best in my opinion. I really enjoy sharing reviews, quotes and recommendations from you all.

This group has given direction to my reading, helped me whittle down my TBR piles at home and read both books out of my comfort zone and ones that I NEVER would have read but really enjoyed.

Thanks to all for adding such a joy to my life!

HA! April is my two year anniversary, too. Imagine that, lol :) (Actually I might have joined in March). This was also the first group that I joined, thanks to you, and it is still my fave. I have met so many great people on this site and in this group.

i just had mine, I joined in marh 2009 when i was in iraq, but I didn't really start using it everyday (read: becoming addicted to it) until january 2010

Wow, your story tops ours. Why were you in Iraq and welcome home safely (belatedly).

Funny, I thought you told ME to join. Are you sure I joined first?

I told you to join Goodreads, but you told me to joing this group. I checked and you joined a day before I did.

Dee - Congrats on your anniversary, too.

i was on a deployment there - normally Navy, but we were supplementing the Army on the Counter- IED mission...so I was in the middle of my tour. Been home for a year now

Wow, I feel so old! I joined in Nov. 2007 and have been addicted ever since. :)

OK - you definitely had to be one of the original members, Luann. Glad you are still around.

I found and joined Pick-a-Shelf in October 2008 - but right towards the end of the month. I didn't realize how new the group was at that time until I worked on the Shelf List and saw that that was the group's very first full month.
