-It took me a really long time to actually get into the book but after page 150 or so I was hooked. I actually bought it before all the hype started but didn't have a chance to read it till this year. Loved it so much I'm reading the trilogy now

Melissa | 95 comments 2.) The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson

- Even better than the first book I think. By this time I already had seen the Swedish movies so I knew the plot. But still and amazing book. I will probably re-read it in the future

Melissa | 95 comments 3.) From Dead to Worse by Charlaine Harris

-I've read the whole series and enjoyed many of the books. But I feel that Charlaine Harris is running out of steam. This book was not as good as some of the previous ones

Melissa | 95 comments 4.) Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris

- I think the series need to end. Don't think I'm going to read book 10 since I was not impressed with this one.

Melissa | 95 comments 5.) The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson

- LOVED this book. The whole series actually. This one may be my favorite. Haven't decided just yet. I will definitely be re-reading the series again in the future. I know "Dragon Tattoo" has a lot of hype but I highly recommend the series

Melissa | 95 comments 6.) A Dog's Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron

-This book actually made me cry! (which never happens.) It has it's sad parts, but I really liked it. A must read for dog owners. Makes you want to hug your dog after reading :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this series! Already starting book 2 A Clash of Kings. Beautifully written and so much detail. You really get to know the main characters, since the chapters are written from the different points of view.

Hmmm... you're making me want to try again. I started reading this book about a year ago but hated the beginning and gave up after 30 or 40 pages. Maybe I should try again and force myself through the first part :).

I definitely think you should give it a try again. Literally it too 150 - 200 pages to get into it. Since all three books tie into one another Larsson lays down the groundwork for the story later on. Worst case if you get to the point in the book where the story actually begins and still don't like it, you can put it down. But I don't think you'll regret it :)

Melissa | 95 comments 10.) Love Letters of Henry VIII to Anne Boleyn by Henry VIII

-Very interesting to read how Henry felt and how much he once loved Anne Boleyn. Extremely short but worth reading if you are a fan of the Tudors.

Melissa | 95 comments 11.) White Oleander by Janet Fitch

-Excellent book. Beautifully written and so much better than the movie.

-Absolutely loving the Game of Thrones series. George R.R Martin is brilliant. Yes the books are very long but so worth it. On to book 3 :)
