The Hunger Games-Roleplay discussion

This is the District Rebellion.
It will be set in district seven(lumber) as they are rebelling against the Capitol. The people have had enough and are working on arming the people against the Peacekeepers, and eventually the Capitol.
Here you can rp as a normal person, a peacekeeper, a person from the Capitol... whatever you want. The main setting of this rp will be in district seven. If any other topics are needed feel free to ask here or in the topic for questions.
As this topic gets more active, you can request more things as you go along. If you want a topic just for the people to discuss plans, sure. You can have it. If you want a topic for the Capitol, you can have it. If you want to have a person to be put into the games to try and rescue someone... hey, you can always ask! Your wish may be granted. Use your imagination.

Name: Peter Rand

Apperance: Peter is fairly muscular from the hours of labor he puts in each day. He is abnormally tall with a height of 6'1". He has fairly short, light brown hair. The top curls from a natural calic, making him appear younger than he is. His eyes are a deep hazel: honey brown with a hint of green. When Peter's in a good mood, his eyes will seem to sparkle with an inner light. His lips are thin, but normally pulled up into a laughing smile. Peter's face is very ovular, hinted pink by a permanant blush.



Personality: Peter loves to be the center of attention. When he knows he's being watched, he tends to show off or be a goof. If getting in trouble is what it takes to be noticed, Peter won't heastitate to break a few rules.
However, he's not extremely reckless. He knows when it's time to be quiet, but will most likely try adn lighten the mood.
On the rare occasion that he's by himself or with family, an unusally reflective side can be seen. Peter loves to simply stare off into space, going to "places beyond" (his definition of daydreaming about a better life).

Job/Position: From his muscular build, anyone can tell that Peter works with the lumber business full-time. However, some of the Population Police have taken an interst in him. If he can just stay out of trouble, they might offer him a position! But will he take it?

Other: Peter's father was killed in a lumbermill accident. No one knows for sure what happened, but many speculate that the Population Police had something to do with it. Years afterward, Peter can say that something was different about his dad the last days of his life.
Now, Peter lives as an only child to his mom. His mother is a hardworker and one of the head cheifs in their town, making delicious foods for the hungry working men.

*Alandra-Peter feels a sort of brotherly connection to her. Both their father figures are gone. They know what it feels like to loose a family member.
*Wren-Peter's first reaction to this girl was scorn. However, it's slowly turned into grudging admiration for her wit and quick reflexes
*Rosemary-Peter won't admit it, but he has a crush on this forest beauty. Sadly, Rosemary already has a boyfriend and doesn't look to be changing her mind.

Appearance: Rhays is the perfect compliment to her personality physically. Hard, razor-like bone structure. Thin, serious lips. Blue almond shaped eyes that slope upward slightly. Her hair is a dirty blond, which falls down her back in beautiful waves. Rhays is tall, although not overpoweringly so. She’s everything that you’d picture her to be on the description of her personality. Only prettier. She’s a unique form of beauty, though.

Personality: Rhays is your typical ruthless peacekeeper. She was raised in District Two, where she was trained to be a war machine designed to win the Hunger Games. However, she never was able to compete and so she became a powerful Peacekeeper. Being the youngest Peacekeeper ever, she holds a sort of pride that anyone would be crazy to challenge. Deep down she is a bit depressed because of her sister's death, but to reach that part of her would require a persistence no one has.

Other: (History) Rhays has been training for the hunger games her whole life. The definition of Career, Rhays is a ruthless fighting machine built to destroy. But how was she to fight it? Growing up in District Two, where Peacekeepers are insane and unforgiving, she had no choice but to obey them. At first she tried to resist, hiding out in her home with her younger sister out of fear. That resulted in public whipping. Being whipped at the tender age of five was unforgettable, and from that moment on Rhays became a robot. The Peacekeepers told her it was necessary, that they were just trying to ensure that she survived, but she was smart enough to know they were lying. Rhays grew up depending on herself to provide for her younger sister. Her mom was against providing for their children, for they had to be tough enough to survive on their own.

Rhays’ younger sister died when Rhays was fifteen. Blaming herself for her sister’s death, Rhays fell into a deep depression during which she became pro-peacekeepers. She agreed to train, even enjoyed it, and found herself becoming more and more like a Career. Although she was disgusted with herself when she discovered how much of a machine she was becoming, the idea of her sister’s death pushed her on. Nowadays, she is known as being one of the toughest Peacekeepers to ever be trained in District Two.

Personality: Tomma is fun-loving. She used to be strict and all, but when her sister died, she was so downcast. Tomma never again wants that horible downcast feeling.

Tomma is also serious, because she knows too much goofing around can lead you to acidentally set off a bomb (like what happened to her sister.)

Tomma also knows how to behave, because she is a Peacekeeper's daughter, and the Peacekeeper would take a whip and whip her with it.

Tomma is lastly, responsible, because she is an in-house maid. She works for the Victors' houses.

Job/position: Peacekeeper's daughter. Is an in-house maid.

Other (History): Since Tomma was training to be a Career, she spent her whole time doing that, not thinking about what she would do if she didn't get picked for the Hunger Games. She never did. She was miserable. Her sister felt miserable one day, and goofing off with her friends, she acidentally killed herself. Now Tomma feels like it was her fault and will never be sad again.

The only job Tomma knew how to do was clean. She decided the closest she could be to the Hunger Games was by the victors. That is what Tomma did. Became a maid for the victors. She at first was just ging once a week, but then after her father nearly killed her when he was drunk, she moved out.

Now, Tomma takes into full realize that it wasn't her who killed her sister, it was the Hunger Games. She has decide that, once and for all, she will join the rebillion.

Appearance: Rose has long, chocolate brown hair that falls down her back in waves. Her eyes are an intense green, and one look into them will leave you breathless. She has delicate features that offset the hard bone structure she has. She appears to be sweet and innocent, although her almost constant scowl breaks the illusion.
Personality:Rosemary is known in her district for her ability to trick anyone into doing what she wants them to do. Her ability to act has given her a leg up on her potential suitors, as she can appear to like them when really she is just trying to let them down easy. She has a natural talent for archery, but her lack of practice with a bow has prevented her from really developing it. Also, her knife work is unbelievably detailed and she can build anything out of almost nothing. Rose can steal most anything without being noticed, and in her district she is able to keep a small amount of wood without the Peacemakers noticing.

Other: When she was 9 her dad died. She doesnt know how coz Maria never told her, but she doesnt let that get in the way of her having a bit of fun. She tries to help Maria whenever she can, but she isnt old enough to be a peacekeeper (Like she even wants to be a peacekeeper)

She got a job as a peacekeeper and was pretty good at it. She only punished someone when she absolutly had to, and usually it was only a small one. But ever since the Uprising her guard has slipped and other Peacekeepers have been noticing her recklessness and letting people go. Her worst fear is that the Peacekeepers will punish her and Paikia for the mistakes Ria made, which was letting innocent people go.

She feels after the everyone in her family has been killed because of the capitol, there is no use in fighting them, she is angry and would like the downfall of the capitol, but again thinks it's hopeless. Apperance: Ethan is well-built. Layers of muscles emcompass his body, making him look like a major body-builder. Wide shoulders allow for a powerful arm (so don't get into a fist fight with this guy). His dirty blonde hair sweeps across his face, often messy. Dark, brown eyes smolder under thick brows. The full effect of Ethan is one of awe and fear, just as he wants it.



Personality: Two words that best describe Ethan would be Determined and Ruthless. Once he sets eyes on a target, Ethan is never one to give up. His power-hungery, savage young mind is one to be reckened with. Never underestimate him. He may look like he's nothing but muscle, but Ethan has a cunning and wily mind. If you value your life, don't get on his bad-side.

Job/Position: Captain Peacekeeper, leader of 100 troops.

History: He grew up in District 1, where he was trained from a young age in combat. Luckily (or unluckily, depending on your point of view), Ethan was never chosen to go into the Hunger Games. Therefore, when he became 19, he enlisted in the Peacekeeper force. His powerful build and determined recklessness have helped him move up. Today, he is captain of 100 troops, striking fear in enemies and fellow Peacekeepers alike.

Personality: Charming, seductive, can get just about anyone to trust her, when she's actually pretty cold in reality. Beneath that shield of ice though is a warm and caring heart that's trying to fight its way back to the surface of her personality. Her past and present bring her to constantly conflicting ideas and emotions, making her a pretty unpredictable character.

Job: Peacekeeper

Other: Became a full on Peacekeeper at such a young age because of her skill; trickery. She used to work with her partner Tristan, until she was killed in the rebellion outbreak.

History: She was young and in love when she got recruited, but after harsh training, her love ended and her views were turned for the worst. Although she believes the old, softer Spark is long gone, there's still a young woman deep, deep inside her who enjoys watching the sky, weaving bracelets out of grass, and holding someone's hand. It'd take a whole lot to bring that girl back, though.

Appearance: Giles is medium hieght, about 5'8" with a good layer of muscle. In his younger days, he was lithe and fit. Now, he's growing a bit of a belly and his strength isn't what it used to be. Giles is still quite powerful, though. His brown hair is styled into a short, easy-to-manage buzz cut. Grey stubble lines his face. Olive eyes look out under bushy brown brows, trained to show no emotion.

Personality: Giles is a loyal citizen to the Capital. He's been "brainwashed" since childhood into believing the justice and morality of the Capital's efforts. He feels some sympathy for the rebels, but doesn't understand why they don't trust the government. His loyalties are to the Capital first and his family second.

Job/position: Peacekeeper Enforcer (he carries out the punishment)

Other: Giles met a Capital girl (Lace) in his late 20s, while he was training to become a peacekeeper. When he got a job as enforcer, he married her. They now have two capital children, ages 10 and 7.

She's medium height and all lean muscle. Her fingers and feet are calloused, and the only clothing she wears are stolen rags and fur skins. Her long, blonde hair is always either falling down her back, or braided with vines. Her eyes are a piercing light blue, framed by thick, dark lashes. In other words, she's a wild looking beauty.

Personality: She used to be quite playful, though her tortured past has lead her personality to become quite calloused and harsh. Her high intelligence and strong, determined will to survive leads her to be able to escape almost any situation. Though she is fiercely loyal to her friends, it takes a long time to gain her trust, and having her fall in love with you? It's possible, but good luck kid.

Job/position: Sells her caught game from time to time, but she mostly just steals things.

Other: Peacekeepers took her away from her mom, who was underaged and unmarried when she had Xene. Xene escaped when she was nine years old, and has been hiding in the forest since. Her only friends are the rebels.

I got bored, so I decided to make someone who I'm going to try my hardest not to let get involved with Mo, Matt, yada yada. You know, need a little variety.

Name: Maya Lenette

Appearance:

Personality: she's very observant, creative, resourceful, mature, and is said to be a musical genius. She's often quiet and reserved around people that she doesn't know, but is a little more open and pleasant if you manage to get her to open up a little. Once Maya sets her mind on something, there's no getting her to sway her opinion, and she's passionate about what she believes in. Although she is elegant, and has class, she makes no attempt to try and be "lady like". If she wants to wear a dress, she'll wear a dress; if she wants to wear muddied pants, she'll wear muddied pants- the point here being that she doesn't mean to please others, and doesn't care what they think of her.

Job/position: pianist

History: After falling in love with a boy named Taylor, watching him get beaten to death, and killing a man in order to protect herself, Maya has become emotionally traumatized. She's able to function pretty well on a day-to-day basis since she can push back those horrible memories, but on days when it rains she falls into depression, since it was raining the day all those people were killed. Now, what she really needs is somebody who can protect her (now that she's accidentally gotten mixed up with the rebels) as well as help her move on from the frightening past.

Other: Maya is constantly moving her fingers, as if she never stops playing piano.

Apperance: Bluebell is very willowy. Long legs and arms move gracefully with her movements. Pale skin and wavy, blonde hair add to this girl's looks. Shocking blue eyes peer out of long lashes. Full, pink lips tend to purse in thought.

Personality: Bluebell is, to put it nicely, spoiled. Being the governor's daughter, she's used to having most anything she wants. Her careless, flippint nature tends to irk most people she meets.
However, this girl does have a caring side. She's surprisingly tender when it comes to family issues, because she can relate (see History).
When it comes down to hit, Bluebell can be incredibly brave; it just takes a life-or-death circumstance to bring this out.

History: Bluebell grew in the lap of luxury. She's had the best nannies money could buy and the best education. Sadly, the need for these nannies is because her mother is dead. Her father buries himself in his work to deal with the grief, hardly ever seeing his daughter.
She's outraged by the living conditions of some of the people in town and demands that her father help. Sadly, her father doesn't have time to deal with her tantrums.

Personality: Eve is a very odd cookie. For She has quit a few sides to her, and some are not as obvious as others. But one side of Her that is most obvious is her 'I'll Yell at who I Freaking well please' side. Eve had grown very independent because of Working out in the feilds while her family and friends bake. If she wants to go get ice cream but the group she's with wants to go home, Eve would go get ice cream by herself. She can be very controlling, and snappy sometimes. Many people have an issue with this. Eve will in fact speak her mind. Whether people like it or not. This is how most friendships are broken with her. If Eve thinks someone is to skinny, she'll say "Jezze girl your way to skinny eat for once" that type of thing. Eve most definitely has her mamma's temper. No doubt about that. This is because, often she needs a chill pill. Even when Eve is trying to have fun she'll Act up at the wrong time. This wild thing defiantly is not a good role model. Standing around 5'6, this feisty and glittery girl will keep anyone and everyone on their toes the entire time she knows them. Her clear blue eyes and brown hair with blonde streaking highlights seem to memorize you, as long as you can see them past all the glitz and sparkles she wears. She is never without her make-up, like most Capitol citizens. Her skin is almost too perfect looking, almost too clear and tan. Her muscular body is tones and fit, but nice and slim, not fat looking at all. She is perfect, but loves to get down and dirty with the criminals.

Personality: Tilly will make you want to scream with the amount of make-up she wears, want to make you scream again when you see how much weight she can lift, and make you want to scream again when you see her re applying her lip gloss after she makes a kill. She is a bubbly, carefree girl most of the time, until she is given her mission and her target is in sight. As soon as she gets a whiff of her targets scent, she doesn't care how far she will have to run, how many fences she will have to jump, or how many mud pits she will have to cross in order to take down her targets. She has on water proof mascara most of the time, so when she sweats during her missions her make-up doesn't smear. She is scary good at what she does, making her very valuable and talented. She is so quiet and shy, so fast, so strong; which is exactly why she is one of the Capitols top trackers and killers. When she is off the job and not having to be 'Dog-the-Bounty-Hunter' for the moment, she is an airhead, seeming like the biggest prep you will ever meet.

Info After the horrible escape of the 8 rebels from their soon to be hanging on the stage of the justice building on district seven, Tilly here was sent in to clean up the mess.
