Frankie stood in the shadows, watching the couple before her. She had seen what has transpired on the rooftop - the girl was a Special. Controlling lighting? Sweet. She had seen the angel-boy around, but she'd never talked to him directly. She watched their conversation take place with piqued interest - other people with powers? She hadn't met any yet. But that could change, she thought.

Frankie scoffed at the lines the angel dude was feeding this girl. But it looked like they were leaving, and she didn't want to miss her opportunity. She knew that she might not have a chance to meet another Special, as her father called them. She stepped out of the shadows and into the dim grey light of the moonlight through the storm clouds.

"Hey. Pretty wicked storm, right?"

Frankie was shocked at the invitation - no one she knew was that upfront. She laughed.

"Love to! It's getting pretty cold out here, and I'm not exactly dressed for the weather!" She gestured to her ripped trousers and thin shirt. She took a couple strides over to the ladder and stoof behind the angel-boy. "I'm Frankie. What's your guys' names?"

Frankie watched at his eyes wandered back to the girl climbing down the ladder. Someone's got a itsy bitsy crush, she thought.

Frankie jumped in front of the angelboy as he wasn't moving, and slid down the ladder, with her feet on both sides of the rungs.

"Sweet. Yeah. Getting colder. Lead the way!" She laughed again.

Frankie pulled the coat towards her without thinking about her use of her power. She's rather nice for a total stranger, she thought. She slipped it on, and turned around the Jacob.

"Yeah, I gathered." She laughed again. "Alright Charlie!"

Frankie followed Charlie into the house, and took of Charlie's jacket.

"You have a crazy older brother too? You're not alone in that area!" She spied an empty coat hook a few feet away and casually tossed the jacket onto the hook. She rubbed her hands together to get the blood flowing through them again and warmed up. She glanced at Jacob, who never seemed to take his eyes off of Charlie.

Frankie nodded.

"Mine? or Charlie's? Mine's 27, his name is Derek. Sort of simple. Always chasing after girls of murmuring nonsense. But anyways, how old is your brother, Charlie?"

((ooh no one be afraid to tell me to do something diff :P))

"It's okay. It looks like he's thinking hard, or maybe worried about something." Frankie jumped in to null the awkwardness before it ensued. "And I think we sort of caught him off guard. Dont blame him, with angel-boy here!" She laughed again teasingly. She felt surprisingly comfortable with these total strangers.

Frankie agreed with Jacob.

"Tea would be wonderful." She turned to Jacob. "You okay, buddy? Seem kinda.... out of it."

She scrutinized his face. He still held a slightly confused look in his eyes. She dismissed it with a shrug though - if he said he was fine, maybe he was.

"Don't you LOVE the sound of the storms? Mmm... thunder is one of my favorite sounds. the power... love the feeling."

Frankie flopped down on the soft couch.

"Agreed... like heaven... But in a living room!" she laughed again. Then she glanced at his black scar down his wing. "So? You gonna tell us your story? as an angel, you've gotta be pretty sneaky not to be found, eh?"

"Whoa." Frankie's intrusive behavior didn't bother her. What bothered her was that this guy was crying. Guys had tear ducts? News to her.
"And so whatcha doin' now?"

Frankie had to hold back a laugh. What was happening in front of her was sweet - and kinda sad - but seemed like something out of a book. Either way, Josh was sad and Charlie was super sweet.

"Thanks, Charlie. I might drop buy sometimes because of just... you know. Life."

"Yeah. Well, Nick seems to be nice, just the quiet type. So, Charlie... what's your story? I mean..." She sighed. "...I saw you conducting the lightning. You control energy, it's obvious. And you, Jacob - have wings, Angel-boy! You guys are Special. I can move things with my mind. We're all alike. Now I'm not meaning to go bounding into this friendship thing, but... I think we should stick together."
She leaned back, unsure of how the other two would take it.

Frankie's curiousity was bursting at the seams. She hated secrets, and now she wanted to know what Charlie was hiding... or going to show her. She bounced up off the couch, ready to follow Charlie.

Emmeline was walking from her home to Nicholas's home. She had had a rough day and wanted to talk to her friend. The rain was falling on her and it felt cold against her skin. She tried to go faster and slipped. She stood back up and finally reached his home. She went up to the door and knocked.

((Vanessa sounds good :} ))

"Anyone else hear that knocking?" Although she was anxious to see what Charlie was going to show them, Frankie also didn't want to leave someone in the cold storm.

Emmeline looked up as Nicholas opened the door, "Hi Nicholas," she said and smiled. "I was coming by to see if I could talk to you?"

Nicholas was a few years younger than she was but he always seemed, in a way, older to her.

Emmaline followed him in. As she walked to where he had pointed she looked into the living room and saw a few people there. As she walked by them she smiled.

"She's pretty." Frankie offered. Then she turned her head to Charlie, hoping that she would ignore the random girl and show them her secret.

Toshihiro was walking in the rain as he passed by many presences. He does not like it but it seems his way of calling people are presences. He never liked it but it seems he never can get away from this "curse" is what he says. Toshihiro didn't have an umbrella and he was doing an errand for his father since he was working on some type of machine but it seems he never got to know what type of engineer his father was. Tosihiro walked down a path and he passed a house. He saw that there were several presences and then he walked away trying to ignore his power. Stupid power. I have to see every presence when I walk past living creatures or nonliving things. This is stupid, it is like I was born without sight like everyone else but I can see perfectly fine or so I think, thought Toshihiro as he walked away from the house.

Emmeline sat on his bed and started to talk, "I'm sorry I came over unannounced but the other day when we met I didn't tell you something about me." She looked up at him, "there's something about me you should know and I felt bad when I didn't tell you before."

((I do not know everyone is inside the house and he is outside, well was outside. I tend to type very fast and forget that I made a mistake so I tend to edit a lot.))

Frankie skipped happily ahead of Charlie, to the brown door at the end of the hall.

"This one??" She grinned happily, with her hand on the doorknob.

Emmeline looked into Nicholas's eyes hoping he wouldn't be afraid of her when she told him.

"A few years back something happened to me, I woke up one morning and I was able to create anything I wanted. I pictured a new dress in my head and it appeared infront of me. I try to hide it from everyone I meet, but I couldn't hide it from you," she said, "I felt like I had to tell you." As she finished she lowered her eyes.

"I don't know, it just didn't feel right to not tell you," she told him. "I never tell anyone, yet just from talking to you once I feel like I can trust you. And I just know why."

Emmeline watched him carefully wondering what he would say.

Frankie giggled and bounded past her into the room, to see a crazy machine taking up the entire space.

"Holy....." Frankies voice trailed off.

Emmeline looked at him curiously, surprised that he hadn't moved away from her.

"No, I haven't. The biggest thing I manifested was a small home down a road. I just pictured a home that I would like to live in with my family and it just appeared," she told him.

Frankie stared in awe at the beautiful contraption.
"does it work? it's soo.... small!"

Frankie sensed that Charlie was holding back something, or trying not to think of something. Although confused, she decided not to mention it. She leaned further over the intricate ring.

"Have you guys had any progress? Have you been able to view any other time periods yet? That's a fascinating idea. And a brave one at that - can you imagine how the government would feel about it? They're so dim-witted!"

Emmeline nodded, "yes, I will try," she said as she smiled at him. "But, where exactly would we do this?" she asked.

Frankie nodded in understanding.
"I totally get it, especially with your ability to control electricity." Frankie looked around the room for a few moments, examining her surroundings. She saw a lone piece of paper on the ground on the other side of the room. it flew up and into her hands. She placed it on the desk, without looking at it. "So, electricity can be very dangerous. Does your ability also make you invincible or painless? I'm just thinking about if you were to step through... if it would seriously hurt you."
