Emelie | 2 comments Hello!
I'm looking to start a new book in the next few weeks -- anyone interested in The Long Walk, by Stephen King, or The Man Who Loved Books Too Much, by Allison Bartlett?
I'm aiming to start sometime around Easter, but could start later if the timing would be better for anyone.

Terri | 95 comments I'm in for the Long Walk if you can wait until May 1st? I'm in if you don't either, it's just that I won't start until after Easter. From April 2nd through Easter we have none stop birthdays, anniversaries and Easter so it's a bit exhausting. I'm reading about eight books right now, one of them Under the Dome. I should be done with it by then.

QueenAmidala28 I thought I was the only one who read 5 books at a time! I can't stand reading only ONE book!

Terri | 95 comments Oh no, I'm in there with you Lydia. :) I rarely read just one at a time. In fact, I have about nine going right now which is a lot more than normal--but I got a freebie from first reads that I'm working on and a couple of non-fiction, as well as a freebie I won in another bookclub. So each night when I'm ready to read, I just pick up whichever one tickles my fancy. Works out pretty good.

If I let myself, I could finish Under the Dome in one sitting but I'd be cross-eyed and very tired from staying up way to late. It's so good I'd love to just read it exclusively--but then it would end all to soon. I'm a tormented reader. Ha!

Emelie | 2 comments I can start anytime after Easter -- I went ahead and started another book, so it all works out pretty well! I'm not as good a multi-tasker as you both and am a one-book-at-a-time gal, but I usually get through them pretty fast.
Should we say May 1st to start, unless something else comes up?
Thanks -- Can't wait!

Veronica (veraj121) | 291 comments I am also a one-book-at-a time chick ( like that expression). I may read two at a time. But no more than that, especially if I really enjoy the book.

When are you looking to do this? Sounds interesting.

Rebecca If you are interested Vicki. Anytime that works for you.

message 10: by Vicki (new)

Vicki Is this the one by Kate Atkinson?

message 11: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca I believe so. The one they are advertising her on Goodreads.

message 12: by Vicki (new)

Vicki That's what I thought. So it looks like it is due to be published April 2nd. Are you planning on buying the ebook version? Or will you need time to get a print copy?

Would April 15th be good? I can get a kindle copy.

message 13: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca I will buy the kindle copy. April15th sounds good to me.

message 14: by Vicki (new)

Vicki Sounds good. I look forward to it. It sounds very interesting.
