I probably have a couple somewhere. I'm just too lazy to look for them. (And I'm supposed to be doing my homework.)

Yes, yes you do.
I love how everyone was so passionate about getting these topics back, yet no one is posting scenes in them.

The word "pristine" makes me think of The Breakfast Club. *random*
I should dig up some scenes for these things, I guess. Blaaah.

Yup, you should. xD"
What's "Peak"?
And I will. In fact, I just found a torture scene. Huzzah!

Oh, I'll go make one.

Oh, uh, it's a book. I don't know why I put it in quotations. xD
Yay for torture scenes!

I second the "yay for torture scenes" cheer.
And here I have a torture scene from Edge. Hooraaayyy! :D
I didn’t even notice when Abbot came into the room; I had honestly forgotten all about him. But when he entered, Evin’s gaze shifted away from me and toward him. She stiffened, then started to stand up. “What the hell is this?”
I didn’t say anything. I couldn’t even look at her. Why had they sent me here––just to torture me?
I turned my back on Evin, facing Abbot. “What does she have to do with anything?” I tried not to show any hint of emotion, but I could hear the tremor in my own voice.
“Well,” Abbot said, “we wanted to show you to know that if you fail us, you won’t be the only one who will suffer for it.”
“What?” was my immediate reaction. “No. No, you are not bringing her into this.” I sounded frantic now, but I didn't care. “Just … Just leave her out of it.”
“We will,” Abbot said, calmly, “as long as you cooperate.”
I resisted the urge to look at Evin again. “Fine,” I said. “What do you want me to do?”
Abbot crossed his arms. “As we’ve already told you, you are the first Ideal to make it through every challenge. But so far, you have only thrived in a controlled environment.”
I stared at him.
“Our goal is to make everyone Ideal,” Abbot said. “Not just in the Societies, but in the whole world.”
“You want to end humanity,” I said, feeling like a large weight had fallen on my head.
“Don’t think of it that way,” Abbot replied. “Think of it as … speeding up evolution. Darwin’s theory––survival of the fittest. The Ideals are the strong, the ones who will survive. The weak will die. It’s natural.”
My blood ran cold. I couldn’t believe he said this with such calmness. All I could say, at last, was, “What do I have to do with it?”
“You are the ultimate Ideal,” Abbot said. “Therefore, you should be the first of your kind to enter the real world.”
Evin gasped, but I barely heard it through the ringing in my own ears. “You’re sending me … Outside?” I choked out.
“Exactly. If we plan to populate the world with Ideals, we must first test that an Ideal can function and survive in an uncontrolled environment.”
I could only shake my head in disbelief. “This is crazy. I'm not getting involved with this. I can’t––”
“Maxwell.” There was a warning edge in Abbot’s voice.
“It’s just not right,” I protested. “And I don’t see why you expect me to help you, after everything you've done to me …”
Abbot sighed. “Dr. Chase?” he said.
For a second, I didn’t understand. Then it occurred to me that we were being watched. I didn’t know how––from a hidden camera, from the screen that showed what I was seeing? But it didn’t matter, because the response was immediate.
“What the … ?” Evin gasped, and I turned around to face her again. She stared down at the bands fastened around her wrists, which were glowing with a faint, whitish light. “What’s going on?” Now there was an audible tremble of fear in her voice. Her eyes widened, and then she winced.
Fear shot through my veins, as I suddenly understood. “No!” I said, turning again. “Don’t.”
“All you have to do is accept,” Abbot told me, his face like stone.
“I––” I started, but I didn’t finish. Evin let out a strangled cry behind me. My heart skipped a beat when I saw that she had slumped back against the wall, covering her face with her hands. She was shaking, her breaths rasping.
I felt like the air had been knocked out of my lungs. “Evin?”
I took a step forward to help her, but she took her hands away from her face to push me away. Her face was streaked with tears. “No!” she screamed hoarsely. “Get away! Get away from me!”
I reeled back, as if she had stabbed me. The pain radiated from my chest, spreading through my body. I felt the dreaded words rising to my throat, but I couldn't stop myself. There was only one thing I could do.
“I’ll do it!” I said. “I’ll do it, okay? Just stop hurting her. Please.”
The expression on Abbot’s face didn’t change. “Very well,” he said. “You’ve made the right choice, Maxwell.”
The bands around Evin's wrists went dull again, but she was still trembling and breathing shakily, and her eyes had gone cloudy from the pain. Without warning, she slid towards the floor.
I rushed forward to catch her. She murmured a weak protest, and then went limp in my arms. Panic ripped through my chest. “Evin?” She didn't answer. “Evin!”
“She’ll be fine,” Chase said dismissively.
I wasn’t listening to him. I held Evin against me, feeling the weight of her head against my shoulder, her ragged breathing on my neck, her heartbeat racing with mine.
I'd never thought I would see Evin give up. But right now, she felt so weightless, like there was nothing left of her. She was a ghost of herself, and it was because of me. I had destroyed her spirit, ended the fight inside of her. I had brought us both to this place.
The breaking point.

That was awesome! For a second I thought this was the death scenes topic and I freaked out...
I think someone should post another one so your scene isn't lonely. xD

I... I shouldn't be so fascinated by this. Considering if this really happen, I doubt the Christian youth thought it was very fascinating... ah, poor kid.
Mm. I've always had a fondness for rat torture--when a person is left restrained in some way or another, with cuts or a large slit down their stomach to entice rats to eat them alive. And then the Brazen Bull, which was a large metal bull that people would be put inside while a fire was stoked underneath.
And of course there are more. Haven't looked into any in a while, though.
