I've read a lot of vampire series. Which one did you have in mind?

Awesome! Let me compile a list and I'll post it for you.But let me get you started on romance: Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunters series. Right now I'm blanking on the first book so it'll be on the list, too.
The Blood books by Tanya Huff: they were the basis for the short-lived TV series "Blood Ties." Also, while Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series hasn't focused on any of the vampire characters yet, if you like other supernatural types like werewolves, ghosts, demons, necromancers, etc. it's great. :-) And there are vampires, just not as the narrator. Yet. *g*
Charline Harris has the Southern Vampire series (Which will be on HBO soon as a series called True Blood), Mary Janice Davidson has the Betsy the Vampire Queen series and Christopher Moore has Bloodsucking Fiends: A Love Story and it's sequel You Suck: A Love Story out. Which are both fabulous, filled with wonderful secondary characters and humor. Betsy is my favorite, the books are light hearted, and humor filled.
Oh I forgot to add Love at Stake Series which is made of win. At first glance it seems like a trashy Vamp novel but it isn't. I love the world Kerrelyn Sparks created and there are six in the series...also Lindsey Sands has The Argeneau Series, there are I think 11 books now and the history and world she created is original and fascinating.
I like Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series. For lighter reads, there's Katie MacAlister's vampire books. Also, P. C. and Kristen Cast have a great YA series--their House of Night books.
Unfortunately, Blood Ties is not out on DVD yet, but I think you can buy the whole series from iTunes. :-) Or just buy the pilot and get the rest if you like it. *g*
