I don't really know what to expect. IMO, it can turn out awesome or utterly out of place and character. I hope it's going to be as good as the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I wasn't really satisfied with the prequel, though. Is there anyone out there who reads this stuff? Does it worth the time and effort? No spoilers, please! :P
I read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and the prequel as well, and I absolutely love the books. I am actually excited to read Pride And Prejudice and Zombies: Dreadfully Ever After. So if you actually liked the first two books, then go ahead and read it.
I've read all three of them, already. I just couldn't put them down. I was a little disappointed in the way the sequel portrays Mr. Darcy, though. But other that that it was awesome! :)
I agree!! I actually found him to be a little awkward in the sequel... I can't quite put it into words. I haven't read Dreadfully Ever After yet, it's sitting on my to-read shelf along with 5 other books >.< I was so happy to see that a third book came out, I was never informed I thought there would only be two!
I read all three and I liked Dreafully ever after the best. A large part of the plot revolves around Bedlem Hospital which was a perfect setting. I felt this was by far the strongest and most well rounded of the three books.
@Hermina: I whole heartily agree. I also felt that without the third volume the first two very much felt incomplete. There were so many parts of both the main book and the prequel that go unfinished, this last one really made the story feel, well, tidy and proper.
I expected this book to be witty and charming and a bit kitschy... and was sorely disappointed. I hated Dawn of the Dreadfuls. I read until the end hoping it got better and it never did.
I really liked the prequel but am having a heck of a time getting into the P&P&Z's. I like the style and the characters but it is moving so slow compared to the first.
Is there anyone out there who reads this stuff? Does it worth the time and effort?
No spoilers, please! :P
