Hermina Oláh Vass I don't really know what to expect. IMO, it can turn out awesome or utterly out of place and character. I hope it's going to be as good as the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I wasn't really satisfied with the prequel, though.
Is there anyone out there who reads this stuff? Does it worth the time and effort?
No spoilers, please! :P

Jess I read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and the prequel as well, and I absolutely love the books. I am actually excited to read Pride And Prejudice and Zombies: Dreadfully Ever After. So if you actually liked the first two books, then go ahead and read it.

Hermina Oláh Vass I've read all three of them, already. I just couldn't put them down. I was a little disappointed in the way the sequel portrays Mr. Darcy, though. But other that that it was awesome! :)

Jess I agree!! I actually found him to be a little awkward in the sequel... I can't quite put it into words. I haven't read Dreadfully Ever After yet, it's sitting on my to-read shelf along with 5 other books >.< I was so happy to see that a third book came out, I was never informed I thought there would only be two!

Holden Attradies I read all three and I liked Dreafully ever after the best. A large part of the plot revolves around Bedlem Hospital which was a perfect setting. I felt this was by far the strongest and most well rounded of the three books.

Hermina Oláh Vass @Holden I agree with you. The setting finally fit the plot. :P I also liked how Hockensmith brought Anne's character out of the shadows.

Holden Attradies @Hermina: I whole heartily agree. I also felt that without the third volume the first two very much felt incomplete. There were so many parts of both the main book and the prequel that go unfinished, this last one really made the story feel, well, tidy and proper.

Michael I expect it to be funny, and slightly gory. I love these kinds of books and movies so I'm stoked to read it and the rest of the books in the series.

message 9: by Melissa (new)

Melissa I expected this book to be witty and charming and a bit kitschy... and was sorely disappointed. I hated Dawn of the Dreadfuls. I read until the end hoping it got better and it never did.

message 10: by Jennie (new)

Jennie I don't know what to expect. They're is always something that will shock me when I read this book series.

Dave I really liked the prequel but am having a heck of a time getting into the P&P&Z's. I like the style and the characters but it is moving so slow compared to the first.
