I was staring at the cover of Darth Bane Rule of Two A Novel of the Old Republic (Darth Bane, #2) by Drew Karpyshyn and I thought I'd make a thread to discuss Star Wars book covers, and which ones we like or don't like. I'd have to say that the cover of this particular book was unappealing to me. From the descriptions, that's not how I pictured Bane, but I liked the book anyway.

Juan Pablo What about this one? Balance Point (Star Wars The New Jedi Order, #6) by Kathy Tyers

I like it when the covers motivate you to read the book. In this case, find out who is the shadow character and what is happening there.

I like the simpler covers also, and the ones featuring just one or two characters end up being my favorites. Especially Dark Lord The Rise of Darth Vader (Star Wars) by James Luceno and Betrayal (Star Wars Legacy of the Force, #1) by Aaron Allston .

William Nelsen (robotwillie) | 49 comments I honestly don't like the Rule of Two cover, in fact I thought it looked mighty cheesy when I first saw it at the place I bought it at. But the book itself is one of the finest in the Star Wars universe along with its counterparts

William Nelsen (robotwillie) | 49 comments Good joke indeed! That is one of the worst covers.

Stephen Van Ness | 41 comments It was one of the last books I bought, because I saw it in the store, and said: "Oh, what a piece of junk! Why buy that when there are all of these other awesome books to buy!" Little did I know that that would be the last time I saw it in borders, so I had to order it online.

William Nelsen (robotwillie) | 49 comments It was good though, better than what I was expecting. It was a good surprise.

When I bought it it was because I thought maybe I was missing out on some story or plot line told in the Galaxies game since I never played it.

As far as favorite covers I have a hard time picking, its much easier to point out the bad ones.

Cameron Harris (cameroniharris) I really like Outbound Flight's and Balanced Point covers.

I like the covers for Death Troopers, Imperial Commando: 501st, Red Harvest and LotF: Betrayal.

All really dark covers, and with the covers of TOR: Revan and Darth Plagueis being released i cant wait to see what the cover for X-Wing: Mercy Kill looks like.

And the cover for Shadow Games looks awesome, aswell as the new cover for Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter.

It's the Del Rey Star Wars Facebook page post about it.

The Rise of Darth Vader or Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

They both seem to capture the emotions that are driving this point in SW history.

Deeptanshu | 42 comments I quiet liked the cover for Death troopers. Very macabre but then so is the novel.
