Do Some Damage discussion

I love when a book I'm reading takes me to a city that I have no first hand experience of at all. I think Tafoya describe the setting very well but actually, I'm just presuming he has.
So here's the question..from those of you who know...is my presumption correct..or am I just suckered easily?

Well, this is going to sound dumb, but the setting felt authentic. The only time I can remember being in Philly was last year for NoirCon. Neil Smith, Jed Ayres, Cam Ashley, and Kieran Shea did force us all into a side-trip to the Muggers' Museum, but that was as close to the neighborhood in WOLVES as I got.

Yet, in the world of the book, the details and descriptions certainly felt authentic -- felt real.

I think a map would have been damned cool wedged there in the front of the book.

It's 100% right on the money. Maybe I'll do a Wolves video tour.

Thanks for that. I pretty much knew that it was authentic. However Philly isn't a city I've learned much about in the UK unlike Chicago, LA, NY and Vegas from my reading. So it was great to be taken to a new city!
